To be clear, I have not had any work done by this company. I gave one star because I had to give a star and I did not use any of their products or their workmanship.
The star simply represents the contractual terms.
However, I had a solar work up done by Doug ( who was great) and I was prepared to sign the final contract. When I read it, I had a few questions of concern and that’s when the communication stopped on their part, probably due to internal legal review.

My advice is to read the contract. Be sure you’re comfortable with it. I was not.

Update: I received word from them that their legal department can make no adjustments (addendum) to the contract to address my concerns.

I interviewed several local companies and after a lot of research and meeting with all of them, I went with Renova Energy. They kept me updated as my project moved along and the installation turned out great. I'm very happy with my solar and Brandon was terrific, before you go solar give Renova Energy and Brandon a call.

Late December I signed a contract with Renova energy for a lease on solar. When I signed my contract the gentleman who sold me the contract told me that I should start hearing back from them to schedule install no later than 45 days. Fast forward to Mid Feb l I hear nothing from them so I call Manuel my sales guy and he gives me a number Renova energy. I called and spoke to Alyssa she told me it would be in May and not 45 days and she doesn't understand why the sales guy would tell me 45 days. We are now May 3rd and I've not heard from them regarding insulation. TEP has everything ready to go but now they say it's at the County due to them the county losing the plans and they needed to resubmit them. You would think that they would have contacted me to let me know that there could be a delay, but no they didn't feel it was in their scope to do that. So now we're waiting to hear back to see when the installation is going to take place. I guess anybody will say anything to get a contract signed and that's exactly what this company did they miscommunicate along with lack of communication on the plans. If it wasn't for me calling them I would not have known that there would be a delay and it may not be in this month. So please beware ask more questions prior to signing the contract with the the sales guy, call to the actual people who are responsible for moving this project forward before you decide to sign. This company is also known as Sun Power or contract with sun power for installation. Keep that in mind.

Scheduled an appointment with Renova on the website last week for 2:30pm today. Yesterday I recieved an email asking if I was interested in getting a quote. I replied that I already had one scheduled for Saturday at 2:30pm. I got a reply that the representative had a conflict and asked if I could do 4pm. I said I could and rearranged my plans accordingly. I waited until 5pm and no one showed, emailed, texted or called to cancel. If your going to spend $10s of thousands of dollars with a company, you have to trust that they are at least organized and relatively well run. That doesn't appear to be the case. I'll keep looking.

First experience with Renova Energy solar went very well. Ishmael, of Renova Roofing, and his teammate did an outstanding job installing the stanchions and sealing them to prevent possible leaks. If the rest of the install goes this smoothly, I'm in good hands.
