Absolutely beautiful park! Well taken care of full of unique exhibits. We have been back multiple times. It is a hike if you’re wanting to see all of the trolls, so just make sure you’ve got those hiking boots on. Lots of gravel and some steep hills. The gift shop offers free maps but also has early hrs so I recommend stopping in before heading on your hike. Lots and lots of unique individual items. Loved it!

We tried to catch fall foliage with my friend and it was beautiful. Very relaxing place. Their dining place is amazing not expensive yet so delicious. The employees are really nice too. The only problem was I saw huge wooden female sculptures but with my friend we could find those.

This outdoor space is a great place to wind down and enjoy nature. We went to "Illumination," a holiday outdoor light show, and it was a fantastic site to behold, a wonderful experience. I've also been there during warmer times, and it was a great experience. It's worth the membership, and they always have some sort of event for the public to partake it.

What an amazing place. I got tickets ahead of time but you can purchase at entry too. They also charge for parking but there are a lot of parking lots and also places to park at along the way. You could circle around the whole arboretum with your vehicle or schedule a tour with the bus and the driver will go through and explain everything from history to fun facts. I definitely enjoyed the tour as it takes on the east and west part of the park. We had a nice picnic by the lake and spend some time exploring the maze which you really can get lost in. A lot of places to just sit down and enjoy the nature. I bet it looked even more beautiful in fall with the many colors. They have activities going on all the time. The day we went was bring your dog day so we saw plenty of doggos playing and exploring as well. Visit their website for more fun events. They definitely make it easy to plan ahead and want to come back for more

This is a good place to hang out with kids, hike a bit, chill out and picnic etc. We went there at the onset of fall when leaves change colors and it was beautiful. This is a huge area so prepare accordingly. There is a visitor center with a restaurant as well. We recommend buying tickets in advance since buying it there was 60% more expensive.

This was my second time visiting the Illumination event at the Arboretum and it was fantastic. The lights and music were stunning, and the provided concessions were well placed and tasty. The lights seem to get better each year and the various exhibits were spectacular. I highly recommend checking out Illumination here before the winter season ends.

Simply amazing. We could have spent all night there . Unlike any Christmas display You've ever seen. Buy tickets in advance online. Breathtaking. The colors are so vibrant

Beautiful park in the Chicago suburbs. With the fall season colors of the trees are changing to all shades of red, orange, yellow and some are still green.
Went to a Sunday and it was very crowded and had to park far away.
It's also pretty expensive $26 for adults and $20 for kids.
I wish they had more kids play areas and some more private areas to sit down.
