Won't go here again. Staff was rude. And the fact you have to pay for recycling is a joke. Essex dump is much better and recycling is free when you bring your trash.

The transfer station is clean and well organized. The bottle redemption center has a very rude person working behind the counter. Not a problem. I will take my bottles elsewhere.

Called here to ask if they take a load of trash as we needed to empty our trailer and get sand! Drove 40 minutes after calling to ask if they accept a trailer load. They said yes… so we drove there and they tell us we need to unhook our trailer on the scale hook it back up, we have a dump trailer but however I didn’t see a spot to dump looked like they expect to unload all by hand. Then drive back on scale unhook trailer again. Needless to say we just left we didn’t get to unload had to drive another 40 min to a different dump that does it like most dumps would. Who wants to spend a hour to unload a trailer of trash. Not me. So hope this helps others in this situation.

Great spot for dropping off garbage, they also recycle bottles by HAND and GIVE YOU MONEY! they also have a used section; like goodwill take what you need for free! Best Dump around

Rude and the fact that if they are closed today they should change this site and maybe put better signs that say one way and you work for the dumb you don't have to be rude you chose to work here I didn't force you being rude cause you work in stowe idk but thanks for us being treated like a**holes for you not changing the website hours that's on you not me buddy
