The apartments advertises secure parking, but the parking gates have been broken for weeks, making it the same security level as the local parking garages. Everytime the parking garage gates are broken, it does take a while to repair it. (Which may not be under their control, but it may be beneficial to consider uodating protocol to help mitgate the wait times.)

The also don't have the option of parking decals that are more private. (For instsnce, the decal mentions the name of the building instead of a more incognito one thst orher buildings offer so thst when you're out in public, people cant easily see where you live). They record your license plates number, but dont give that information to the towing company.

I've been an Attain Downtown resident for a year and a half and couldn't be happier. This is the first apartment I’ve live in since graduating and I’m so happy I chose to live here. The building is impeccably clean, and the management and staff are incredibly friendly. They create a real sense of community with their resident events, and the downtown location offers endless date night possibilities.

I had a great year at Attain. They are super accommodating to service members, and their ability to communicate makes it apparent that their leasing agents and building managers actually care about residents. In addition, the parking structure is very secure for medium-length storage. Overall excellent time there, highly recommend!

When I scheduled my tour appointment, I was told I could park in the garage and just call upon arrival. However, when I called to ask them to open the garage upon arriving, they simply told me to "just park on the street." When I reiterated that I had been informed I could park in the garage, the staff member responded with a dismissive attitude, as if my request was unreasonable. This was surprising, especially since I’m unfamiliar with the area and was just following the instructions provided when I scheduled the appointment. While this may seem like a minor issue, the poor communication and dismissive tone left a negative impression. It makes me question how more important matters, like a security deposit or rent payments, might be handled. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this wasn’t a good one.

This would have been a 1-star review, but Christopher Delaney, who helped me during the tour, was wonderful. I’m not sure that I’ll be renting here, though.

I’ve lived in the Attain for two years, and cannot say enough great things about it! Not only are the apartments top notch with wonderful amenities, but the entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful! One of the best features is having in-house maintenance which includes an emergency option for after hours issues. They attend to any issue very promptly. Another major perk is having a parking garage specific to Attain residents attached to the building. I also feel very safe and secure living here. I HIGHLY recommend living here!!

Excellent! Just got an apartment for our son who will be attending EVMS and will be moving in next week but what a place!! Location, amenities, and vibe are all amazing. They also have fantastic office management team who have been very responsive and helpful. Will strongly recommend if moving to this area.

I wish I would have moved here years ago. Not only is the property beautiful and well-maintained, shout out to the incredible maintenance crew, but the management is tops! Temeka is by far the best property manager I've ever encountered. Not only is she efficient and gets things done, but you can tell she actually cares about her residents. She takes pride in the community, And so does the rest of the staff, following her lead. For new people moving to the area, the building is in the heart of downtown Norfolk, and a short walk to anything you could want. Parking is secure, and in a garage connected to the building, unlike most other apartments downtown. That's a big plus! The courtyard and pool area is lovely during the summer. And it closes promptly at 8 PM, so there's no worry about noise. The common areas are always clean and well-maintained. All in all, I would give more than five stars if I could. Truly, an elevated, living experience!
