Dominion Energy Solutions was great, highly recommend them. I talked to many other solar companies and DES was the most honest and thorough. Many other companies out there are looking to rip you off, I'm not sure how it's legal but that is the current situation, and that is why anyone thinking about solar should talk to DES. I went with DES for many reasons including their high ratings, thorough and honest process, high quality equipment, and knowing they will be around long term. They also had the best and most straight forward financing option. If you are going to finance a solar system then I would look no further than DES, most other companies have financing options that are shockingly bad. Solar is not for everyone and DES will explain that to you and will be honest if it's not a good investment for your situation.

Being a Virginia resident my entire adult life, I never expected Dominion to have the most straight forward, accurate, and pleasurable experience to switch to solar.

I have reviewed and been spoken to many times about solar, received many quotes, and received wildly different prices, array setups, and promises. However, after weighing in about 7 different quotes Dominion was the best price per watt out of all of them.

We did have to have a roof replacement that was integral to the solar panels being installed. The roofing company that they used was top notch. The house has a complex roof, but the roofers were able to finish quickly and efficiently. No trash left over, pleasant construction folks, good communication.

Solar installation, same thing. Great communication, professional, top tier quality work.

Shout out to David, Tiffany, Dillon from Dominion Energy and David and Devin from Convert Solar and the roofing crew the work was fantastic and I couldn't be more pleased!

Eli was very thorough in our initial 15 minute phone meeting. He reviewed details about our house, energy bills and the Google Earth view of our house and surrounding tall shade trees. He told me at that point that the payback period would be probably several years longer because of the trees. Three days later he emailed me the formal report confirming that solar would not be a money saving opportunity for us because of our shade trees. I appreciate his thorough analysis and honesty. Dominion Energy Solutions has been great to work with! The sales team was always informative, patient, and transparent about costs and benefits. The installation team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. So far so good regarding the quality of the panels. We've only had them for a few weeks, but their energy output so far is in line with what we were told to expect. The project was completed on schedule without any unexpected delays. Post-installation support has been fantastic. They've walked us through everything, responding promptly and thoroughly to questions. Overall, we're very pleased with Dominion Energy Solutions.

Harnessing the power of the sun is a truly rewarding experience on its own but having Dominion energy solutions (Ardy) made the process of going solar seamless and enjoyable. We had such a positive experience. We spoke to a couple of other companies when we first started looking and I can tell you, it was a waste of time. The Dominion energy solutions guys were straight to the point, they made sure questions were answered. We would refer family, friends and anyone else thinking about going solar to work with Dominion energy solutions.

We had been wanting to go solar power for a long time but no one would give us the set-up we wanted. When there was a power outage last summer of 8 hours, I told my husband that that was IT, we were going solar somehow. I have health issues that require me not to become overheated. The power outage scared me. So did the thought of fly-by-night solar companies. So I turned to Dominion Energy. I mean, if a huge power company like Dominion can't be trusted to stay in business who can?

I first spoke to Keoni Rison, who was the sweetest, most helpful guy. He then passed me along to Dillon Overstreet, his boss, who shepherded us the whole way thru the proceedings. We started our journey back in Aug. 2024, and will finally get the all clear today.

I can't thank Dillon and his team enough. The whole thing, while lengthy, was really smooth, and Dillon took over a lot of the jobs I should have done but my husband became very ill during the winter and I just couldn't cope on my own. Being old didn't help. Dillon consulted with me, guided me, and helped me understand the process much more easily than I would have otherwise.

You can't go wrong with talking to Dominion Energy and going solar. And watching our solar panels pouring energy into the grid makes us feel good and very glad we took the plunge.
