A good recycling center in South LA with friendly staff. They always help me sort different recyclable items, which is appreciated. Do recommend this place.

I suspect they are not practicing fair business ethics. Rampant racism in favor of the Mexicans vs. AA black ppl. Ie; my amt in cry is always $15-20 but I always only receive maybe $8- 10. A Mexican customer with same amt often receives twice my same amt. I will have them investigated. Bc I have given them several chances for redemption of such practices .

I'm thrilled with the plastic bottle recycling service at this center. The quality of their service is outstanding. I give all the employees this rating! I'm disabled and every last one of them try to be as assistive as possible.some days I'm in so much pain, they take the time to have patience with me and a lot more people needing help. Great customer service, prompt and people-oriented!!!! Give them a raise,especially during this pandemic. They're essential workers. God Bless!

Me and my 9year old son have been coming here faithfully every two weeks for 7months now due to my son running his own Save The Earth and recycling company. All the elders in my neighbor or now saving and delivering their recycle to our home for him. This recycle company has completely felt like home! They are the same as they are in the hot summer days as they are today in winter ! Nice smiling faces! The crew is all male and they are so helpful and kind , plus they keep things nice and tidy and it doesn’t smell bad! I appreciate the love they show my son , we have had a very hard year after loosing my baby brother to Suicide ! Most people do not realize that the children in the family of a loss love one effects the children also and they need understanding and care in order to move forward ! Thank you guys so much for service ! It’s easy to write bad reviews so if anyone ask why the long comment ?!... I felt they deserved my time! God bless p.s you can’t put a dollar amount on meeting and keeping good people! So I never discuss why we receive so less or more for our recycles

The reviews of them cheating the community is correct they've been doing this for years decades when you recycle you supposed to be able to see how much your material weighs and you supposed to be able to see how much they're giving per pound of the material but he calculates that all in the booth for himself and gives you what they think you should have for what you gave them the receipts will never be the same compare to pass receipts they will never match because he's just freestyling every time you come so basically I don't recycle cans I can't because I don't like being cheated and I'm not going to drive with nasty cans in my car but this is where I live

We recently moved to Los Angeles so my roommate could go to law school here. I love this recycle center. It's close to our house, open 7 days a week, the workers are always nice and helpful. At the recycle center in my former town I would be in line for 45 minutes with grouchy, impatient people. That hasn't happened at G & P Recycling Center even once. They have someone who makes sure I can get out of the driveway and onto the street safely, too. It's so nice to actually have something nice to say about a company and its people in a day and age where everyone else seems to do things half-assed. (Oh, heck... now everyone will want to go here.) 😉
