Brand new to Sedona and looking for a good place to sell out trails, driving routes, and other sites? This is a great place to start.

The rangers there were very helpful and helped us find hiking trails and scenic drives.

If you walk around back to the ranger station there are some good views of several of the well known rock formations.

There's also some displays inside that provide some good information on the second landscape.

A very beautiful visitor center and well worth a stop. The place has lots of information on hiking , trails, and what to see in Sedona. It is a great place to explore and spend some time checking out the scenery. Some of the wildlife might even show up which is pretty cool. Watching the hummingbirds in the hummingbird garden is pretty cool!! Spent time trying to catch a hummingbird in flight on camera and was able to catch a real pretty one and post the photo. Rangers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of history here about the area and a great first stopping point on a trip to Sedona to gather information.

Definitely stop here. Great view. The visitor center is filled with information and rangers to answer questions about the area and help you plan your visit. The gift shop has a lot of souvenirs and displays provide a good amount of information regarding the areas wildlife. Parking lot is large, facilities are excellent and its the perfect place to make that final pitstop before you get into the gorgeous roadside scenery of Sedona.
