I have been insured at Kaiser for about 18 months now - I have had VERY positive experiences every visit. Pleasant, efficient personnel. People that care and who are highly competent. Easy to check in. Easy to get appointments (fast too). App is simple to navigate and intuitive to use, and allows for just about every use case. Earned 5 stars on every measure!

I'm a brand new member of Kaiser Permanente and this was my first in-person visit. I had a good experience. Parking was easy, I arrived early for my appt with Dr. Wong and I was called in right away. Dr. Wong was very nice and took his time with me. Most doctors give you the sense they they're in a rush but that definitely wasn't the case here. I feel that my first visit was a very positive and productive experience. Thank you!

First time meeting Dr Winnie Tong. She was great. Knowledgeable and caring. She listened attentively and answered all my questions. We discussed pros and cons of my going forward or not with the considered procedure. She did not attempt to pressure me one way or the other. I did not feel rushed. I felt heard and respected. Great addition to the South San Francisco campus and my care team.

Been here many times for various reasons. Blood tests, EKG, MRI etc. Doctors and staff are friendly, the buildings and restroom areas are clean, parking is plentiful [It is a bit narrow, and careful of the right turn only, and going straight areas] easy labeled sidewalk area on the garage floors. The higher floors, you can see a nice view of a grass field area. There is a pharmacy there too if you need it. Recent visit today, looks like they had some food stands outside the building, selling tamales and other mexican type food!

It is a wonderful hospital and has a wonderful doctor. Doctor Dilan Polat was incredibly attentive to the diagnosis and treatment of my illness. Of course, as a good patient, I listen to her. The treatment she suggested worked and I feel better and better. I realized once again how important a doctor-patient relationship is. I am very lucky to have a doctor who knows and does his job very well and makes his patients feel valuable and important.

I booked an appointment for Friday at 2:00. I showed up at 2:01 and showed the receptionist what doctor I was there to see I said “I am here to see this doctor”. She just stares at me not saying anything. I said “is that ok?” She tells me I asked if he is here , “yea he is here so?”. She doesn’t ask my name or my Kaiser card and tells me there is a $40 copay. I paid her and got a receipt. I went to the waiting area where after 30min four other patients were called after each waited no longer than 2min. I went back to the receptionist who told me she is closed. I waited in line to speak to the other receptionist. I asked for a refund after stating I do not feel well it is very hot in the waiting area if I can please go. She tells me “there are other doctors back there” as if my request is unreasonable and as if I’m being impatient. After she made a phone call the triage nurse called me back. I went into the doctors office where she stated I was never checked in and they didn’t know I was there. She said the doctor is seeing other patients right now so hopefully I will be seen soon. I said I’m sorry I don’t mean to be rude to you but no I’m not waiting anymore I want to just get a refund and go. I went back outside to the receptionist who again denies me a refund and starts helping others who came after me. She then tells me she cannot refund me because the other woman took my cash. She then helps another person without any explanation. I realized the first receptionist stole my cash and never registered me for my appointment and that is why this second woman can’t give me a refund. She just called security and had her manager issue my fiancée a generic receipt for the amount that was taken from me. I’ve been a member of Kaiser my entire life and have never experienced theft by a staff member. It is clear the woman stole my cash and after telling me “she is closed” (she leaves) and her coworker tried her best to cover for her then called security to make me seem irrational and the problem. Kaiser employees have a system where they steal from patients. Be careful please.

I'm very impressed with the level of care and empathy received at the Neurology Dept here. Dr. Connie Wu is so personable and wonderfully professional. Before moving on to any new topic, she would always check to see if I had any questions. She was totally focused on me and my needs and there was never any sense of being rushed through the exam. I really appreciate that. I should add that this isn't unique to this dept or facility. I've also been treated at San Mateo and RWC and always had a positive experience from the providers there.

I was referred to see Dr.Tee in Orthopedics regarding the sharp, stabbing pains on my left hip radiating down to my knee. Everyone (registration, xray tech, nurse, and Dr. Tee) in the Orthopedics Department were all very nice and helpful. Dr. Tee gave me a cortisone shot which provided great relief from the sharp pains. She was very pleasant and very good in explaining everything. Thank you!
