1. paper thin walls - you will hear everything, also everyone in the Inn will hear you. A guy upstairs started getting ready at 5:00AM, pounding around, making noise until he carried his luggage down the stairs.

2. Mattress in room 7 feels like an old lumpy sponge. I invite the owners or general manager to sleep there for one night.

3. Light blasts into the room all night long from the front door because of huge gaps around the frame.

4. Bathroom has a sliding door which does not fully close! 2-3 inch gaps around the whole door, so you will not have any privacy. You will hear and smell everything. Terrible offering by the owners!

5. Checked out a full day early, even after the room was fully paid for. No phone call from management about the notes that I left for them.

8. Looks like a bunch of cheap upgrades were made… its looks nice, but does not function well.

9. No sheets for the pull-out bed.

10. Price got us in, everything else made us run away early!

However, I guess I was expecting a little more upscale of a place based on how it was described. Also was there during the winter and it was raining and gray the whole time which may have influenced my score. One note is that I was there with probably two other guests in the entire Hotel. It took literally five minutes for hot water to show up. I thought it was broken initially, but they told me at the front desk to just wait. The room I stayed in was an ocean view room however it’s not on the ocean but across route one. The area is nice, but there are some trees obscuring the ocean view, unless you’re in one of the top floors.I think it’s probably a great place to stay with a family and in the summertime there’s probably a reason it’s not too busy. Also, there are a few food places close by or you can drive into Pacifica, which is about 10 minutes away.

We’ve been staying here for years, and it never disappoints. The rooms are cozy and have all the amenities you’d need. Great view of the ocean, and right off the beach. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Very reasonable prices for the location. Always clean and well maintained rooms. We recently stayed during a power outage, and Andrea, the manager, was so communicative and friendly. She goes 1000% above and beyond the standard for customer service. Stay in the penthouse, soooooo worth it!

I can't recall staying in a weirder hotel than this. No one works here after 10pm, you literally can't check in after that. Our room looked like a ballroom with a wall to cut it in half with furniture added from a commercial supplier but also some from Wayfair. The beds were fine. The water wasn't very hot. The walls are clearly hollow, and the baby crying next door was not a good time. I guess it's close to the beach but we didn't get in with enough daylight to find out. Any lodging should make insulation in the walls a top priority. We were happy to leave.

July 5 - 7, 2024. Room #4, Garden King. First the good: free parking, nice towels, good ventilation, decent bed & bedding, and housekeeping did a good job. Now the bad: No complimentary breakfast (despite their Webpage claim), NO WiFi on second floor, poor security measures (post-midnight altercation & shouting in the lobby area), very hefty fee even though it was a holiday weekend ($325 / night, total bill for two nights was $732.90). Note also that their webpage carries NO customer reviews - a yellow flag.

The Inn is just a minute drive from the beach. Many of the rooms are able to see the ocean and the view is gorgeous. The Inn has a homey feel and the rooms look brand new. They are expansive, with hardwood floors, clean and large beds/sheets and a clean bathroom with all of the expected amenities. The rooms have their own ice machines, which is nice in theory, however it makes noise all night and woke me up a few times. The front desk is vacated at 10pm and you'll have to let yourself in and out of the building with your keycard. There is also a mandatory quiet hours at night so you won't have loud neighbors. They offer breakfast in the mornings as well. Would highly recommend here if you are staying in the area.
