We stopped for a late lunch and got a muffin and two sandwiches. Both sandwiches were great. One was a simple baguette with ham, cheese, and honey. The other was a grilled cheese and ham sandwich on brioche. We enjoyed both of them. The blueberry muffin was average. Service was a little slow, but the staff was friendly.

This place used to have the best chicken salad sandwich ever. Unfortunately it came under new ownership in the past year or two and the food quality has really gone downhill. I’ve tried three times to have that same excellent Colonel Armstrong chicken salad sandwich experience and it’s just always very mediocre, dry bread with a little scoop of uninteresting chicken salad stuck between it.

OMG!! This place!!!
My Aunt and I went. We had heard about the biscuits. We were greeted with a big smile and a quickly made coffee!! As we waited for the biscuits, we were able to sit and enjoy talking with the staff.

Then the biscuits came, warm, and glistening with fresh jam. All talking stopped, lol. They were delicious! Warm, soft, but with a crisp and buttery crust.

I cannot wait to go back through when on the area again!!

If you are in the area, run to this place, and go hungry!

Stopped at this place after a hike in Armstrong woods. Amazing food and atmosphere, it was the perfect stop!! “On the run” baguette is to die for.

I came to Mags (the owner) with a request for catering only five days in advance of my event. Not only was she able to fulfill my order, but she was super responsive over email, answered all my questions, provided everything I needed, and the food was a massive hit! Customer service when I picked up the order at the restaurant was superb. Great place for folks with dietary restrictions, too. I can't say enough good things!

Disappointing. Spent $15 on what turned out to be more or less half a sandwich and a salad that lacked dressing. The worst part was that it took 30 minutes to arrive and there were 4 employees working, so it wasn’t like they were understaffed. Got a Mexican Coke for $5 out of the case so at least I didn’t have to wait for that. The food wasn’t bad per se but the overall experience was mediocre at best.
