Wow, what a hidden gem in Guerneville!! I have driven by numerous times and finally got to check out Baked on the River, and it did not disappoint.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like this was a special place that was definitely worth a visit. The staff is incredibly warm, and the food is really unexpected. I only visited for lunch, but I definitely want to go back for brunch and dessert. I was seated outdoors, and the patio ambience was perfect for the warm afternoon. After perusing the extensive menu, I ordered the Swedish meatballs in sandwich form. Like an elevated Swedish burger experience!

To top it off, Chef Helena delivered a super tasty dessert, a house made cookie with a Mayan/Aztec flair. You can absolutely feel the love and care that goes into every bite. P.S. Chef Helena often caters by special request. Will not be my last visit!

This little place is not your average brunch experience. The atmosphere is very quaint, and their menu is unique. The workers are very friendly. I had their Hash in Pan, and it was very tasty and filling.
I know this is a little thing, but I appreciated that they have raw sugar and stevia options for the coffee, not just refined sugar and artificial sweeteners. To me, this is one "minor" thing that shows attention to detail.
This restaurant was memorable.

Garden area is really nice, it was my first visit today. Not busy, I ordered an early bird sandwich. Which is ham cheese and egg on a nice bun, but…it took about an hour to get it. There was only 1 order ahead of mine, also sandwiches. No clue why it took so long, people are really nice for sure. Waitress was on her first day working there, when I finally got my sandwich she said by. I hadn’t even paid for it yet, which I told her. Then took a bit to pay as well, the sandwich had no cheese. Extremely greasy, I’m not a fan. I like to help support local businesses, but I think I ordered the wrong item ? It’s as basic as a sandwich can be, I just don’t get why it took an hour ? It was disappointing, sadly. I don’t sugar coat my honest opinions, I would hope everyone is the same for my reading reviews before patronage.

Had an amazing time at Baked on the River! The food was super delicious—everything we tried was fantastic. The backyard garden patio is such a lovely spot to eat; it’s really beautiful and relaxing.

The staff were super friendly and took great care of us. I even lost my purse there, and they found it and mailed it back to me! I was so relieved and impressed by how kind and honest they were.

Will definitely be going back and highly recommend it to everyone!

We went there on a Sunday morning. Luckily it was not too busy. We got an outdoor seating in the garden. It’s very beautiful. The food is more like a home-cooked style and they have a lot of vegetarian options. The owner is very attentive, and we had a great time there. Would definitely love to go back again. They only have like five parking spots so I’m not quite sure if that will be a problem when it is busy. The cheesecake is great too.

Stopped here on a rainy day, ordered some food to go. It was not busy but the food took a bit longer to prepare. Folks were nice and offered special changes if we desired. Ordered - meatballs (good but a little bready for our taste, side salad was marvelous!) Also ordered the Caesar salad with sausage on side ( good dressing, not vinegar heavy. Creamy and tasty. There was an herb in it I loved, would have liked more of it and garlic too! Sausage was yummy and plentiful. Too many croutons however. )
They have a sweet little back garden patio too- nice for a non rainy day!
