Very, very, clean, great housekeeping! New interior. Had coffee maker in the room, They have comfortable beds. I could have used a flatter pillow, but my hubby loved them. Delicious 😋 coffee in the room, so I was on the balcony this morning with a view of Morro Bay sipping coffee, so relaxing. Walked minutes to local restaurants in town, and I never used my car the entire stay. That's a win for me! Great gym with new equipment. Wonderful hotel peeps/service. Very reasonable Spring rates!!! Would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I stay a couple nights, the room and the employees were fantastic. The staff Cameron and the Manager Heather were great. She gave us a room where we can see the big rock, plus my wife and I walked to the outlets. Thank you guys for your hospitality

My partner and I have stayed here multiple times and we love it every time! Rooms are very clean and the amazing people at the desk will always accommodate any of your needs/wants. Beautiful view when you wake up and tons of great local food and drinks nearby. Would highly recommend you stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Avisa! It had a nice, homely feel and was a comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to great restaurants, cafes, and shops. Morro Bay itself was absolutely charming, and watching the otters was a highlight of our trip. The hotel was clean and well-kept, nothing overly fancy, but a great place to stay if you want a cozy and convenient spot in this beautiful coastal town. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at several places in Morro Bay. Most of them are lipstick on a big. Hotel Avisa surprised us. We really enjoyed our stay. New, modern, nicely decorated. The room are very spacious. A/C and heater is in the wall, but works great and isn’t anywhere near the bed. The bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. It’s also walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the embarcadero. The only negative was the floor is the bathroom was a little sticky.

We really like what the people are doing with this old Choice hotel. The room we had was nicely done, light and bright. The view of Morro Rock and the smokestacks was priceless. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Parking was under the hotel and I had no problems with my Ram 1500 pickup. I will definitely stay there again!

We were celebrating our 42nd Wedding Anniversary in Morro Bay and Heather, Daniel, and Cameron were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay very pleasant.The room was so nice and had everything we needed. We love the view from our balcony also. Thank you for a wonderful time 👩‍❤️‍👨💝.

My family had to make a last min reservation to overnight @ Morro Bay. We googled & Hotel Avisa showed up. Rate is NOT particularly cheap but it’s situated in a prime located near the Embarcedero. ||Hotel’s newly remodeled, no breakfast’s provided. Beds are firm, & place is clean. However, they lack attention to detail. I know we don’t sleep in the bathroom but the shower curtain was in a pathetic state(see pict).||Will we return, probably not for the price of of $250, including tax. There are a fee neat newly remodeled rental property like Grey Motel, Estero, 426 hotel literally by the water. Will definitely check other places out.
