Had an appointment at 13:30. Followed the security guard instructions for pre parking in order to turn in paperwork for a delivery. Went in to the check-in, was given a door immediately docked in door 9. About 35 minutes later, the paperwork was handed back signed and ready to go.... I was in and out in less than an hour. I take it that if you are getting loaded there, the circumstances are a bit different..... Don't be discouraged by negative reviews. There is plenty of room for backing into a dock. Find a spot to turn around and handle your business. As always, be safe and let God guide you through everything....

Whew, this place has some ISSUES. First of all, coming in through the gate, you'll notice that the turn into the guardshack is tight. Consider that foreshadowing for what's about to come. While the security team is friendly and helpful, the whole staging process is the most disorganized mess I have ever seen. Right off the bat, get ready to do a blindside backing because that's the setup you're in for. This yard can get real tight real fast. Trucks are told to park in a spot on the right side so that they can get checked into the office. Once you're done checking in, then you will wait 2-4 hours in the truck until a spot opens. That's not an exaggeration. That's actually what they wrote on a sign in the office.

Several hours later, you are then told to back into a door. Just to play it on the safe side, I backed in from the entrance to the docks in a way that would set me up for driver's side, but one of the employees did not like that. I didn't care though. I still went along with my idea, despite there being a lot of congestion with yard dog and truck traffic that was already there. Luckily, there was an opening where I could pull up to finish my maneuver in front of my door.

From that point on, it only took about an hour for them to unload me. That wasn't so bad. What was bad though was the person who yelled at me for doing a safer backing and the yard dogs that speed in their own lot. They're the ones that need to be careful. I even witnessed one of them scratching their own trailers because their backing was incredibly sloppy. No wonder those boxes have dents.

My word of advice to other drivers is that you definitely need to bring a lunch, a set of backing skills, and a patient mindset. Put your CDL first. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Super busy facility. I checked in and after giving my phone number was told to leave and find a place to park until called for check in. Apparently they were overwhelmed with all the port cans.
Took couple hours for call, but once in a door they are fast.
Safety vest required or no service.
No one allowed on dock, and they won't sign shipper load and count.

Checked in at 10:20 am, still waiting at 15:30 + parking to wait sucks! So 5 hrs & counting. Oh yea, no restroom! It's out of order!
