I purchased an ls103mm dbw tb a while back for my hci build on my c5. Big mistake… they were helpful with tech tips over the phone but still doesnt solve the poor idle quality and cold start idle. Once its hot idle and drivability was decent at best. Spent well over 25hrs trying to get it right with my tuner and its impossible. Its essentially an paperweight at this point. Now i need to purchase a nick williams which im kicking myself for because if i had gone that route in the first place the car would be on the road already. Dont waste your time and money like me and just go with a nick williams. I wouldnt trust any of their electronics

So this review is probably way over due as we have been working with Granatelli for about 3 years now. With that said, anyone who has purchased their products knows they are of the best quality. But what about their B2B service? Well Jorge Vasquez proved today that it's quality is as good as the product they sell. We had a PO issued a few weeks back for customized aluminum hose clamps. We used an old part number that is now for blue clamps and not black. So they shipped us blue clamps. We thought we were getting black. When we called them they jumped all over it, solving the issue and sending us all new black clamps at no additional cost. STELLAR!!!
If you are in the Cincinnati area and want to check out their product come see us. We are a dealer (Nostalgic Garage) and will continue to push their products. Currently we stock their DBW throttle bodies, plug wires and hose clamps.

Their “LS” 103mm throttle bodies are claimed to fit factory and aftermarket intakes. I have an LS7 with an MSD intake (the most common aftermarket) and it does not come close to fitting. The bolt holes are too high for the gasket to seal properly so you don’t have a good gasket seal, there is a vacuum leak, and what I can only assume would be a massive amount of turbulence. Theirs is the exact same throttlebody as the Summit 103mm option - which has atrocious reviews regarding same fitment issue, so they are both just brand labeled for specific retailers by the same foreign manufacturer. The bolt holes on the throttlebody are also massive, like almost 1/2” which is sloppy. Two stars because they were initially communicating with me to try and get it resolved. We also mocked it up on a fast 102 aftermarket intake manifold, and the fitment was poor as well. Now I have a black anodized $650 paperweight, so I guess it’s a conversation piece at least. Order a NW 103 and it fits perfectly like it should for only $40 more. Problem is, I drove with this on my Corvette for several thousand miles and could never get my idle correct - always seemed like there was some unmetered air causing us problems. Well, we discovered the issue after we spent countless hours chasing down other ghosts. 😕 Who would have thought that it was throttlebody fitment to begin with? From the outside, it looks perfect.

I ordered some spark plug wires for my vehicle through this company and it was a bad experience! The website stated that they were in stock when in fact they were not in stock. I had to wait extra time to get them. Also upon first looking at the wires they looked and felt cheaply made. The wires I had on my vehicle prior to Granatelli are a lot less in price and are by far made way better and perform better. The Granatelli wires didn't even come with heat shields and the wires were pretty much all too short in length. When I say short I mean they were hugging my cast iron manifold! The boots of these wires are attached poorly also. I attempted to remove the Granatelli wires after getting a misfire going down the road and upon pulling them off the insides of the boots came apart. My NGK wires have never come apart had a loose fit or caused a misfire EVER! Yes, I know how to properly replace/remove spark plug wires. I spoke with someone at Granatelli in regards to my issues with the wires and I was told that they would compare these wires to the Motorcraft wires that came on my vehicle and send me pictures. Well, what do you know no one did that. Why? Because Granatelli isn't up to par with the factory wires. I also had to pay the shipping cost to send them back and a restocking fee. Based on my experience with this company I cannot recommend them nor will I ever do business with them again. Granatelli you may want to take lessons from NGK on how to make and manufacture quality OEM spark plug wires.

Horrible service and product knowledge. I purchased a new set of their LS billet valve covers from a private party and wanted to install them with new gaskets since they were a couple years old. Called and spoke to a "tech" on the phone. He said they dont carry the o'ring material but told me to get a 3mm oring that was 5' long to do both the covers and I would have extra. After ordering it from an o'ring supplier and trying to install it, its too short. Called them back to try and get a solution and was told a manager would have to call me back. After waiting 3 business days and no response, I called back. The manager told me they no longer make these parts and didnt know it was even on their website. I offered to buy new bolts and gaskets for the bolts and for them to throw in the oring, nope. Literally would not do anything to resolve their mistake. If they cant provide a solution to a simple $20 mistake and stand behind what they say, god forbid they really screwed something up. They will most definitely leave you out to dry and not be there if you need them.
