In all our travels we’ve never experienced anything this unique! These fat trucks feel like one of a kind, and offered us quite the view from both land and water! We booked the private tour while visiting our family (all Alaska natives) and it was worth every penny! Despite living near the park their whole life our grandparents found this tour super impressive. Our guide Tim did a great job of getting to know our group and having fun with everyone. The truck was nice and temperature controlled and offered the perfect level of comfort and fun! The memories from this part of our trip are some of our favorites, thanks Denali Fat Truck Tours!!

My husband and I took the Fairbanks to Healy tour. It was a FULL day (like 10 hours) but it was my favorite day of my entire Alaskan trip. Our tour guides (Tim and Joel) truly love their home state and they know how to show it. All the knowledge they shared and funny stories they told made me want to move there! I can’t rave enough about these two brothers. They were so much fun and never let a conversation die (in a good way). The whole day was very organized but really laid back. The Sherp tour was like none other. We saw wild life, got some epic photos and drove out on to a huge frozen lake. They have drones to capture some remarkable aerial shots of the mountains too. 10/10 experience. We loved it. Book it and you won’t be disappointed.

This tour was incredible! Riding in the Sherp allowed us to experience Denali in a way few people do. We saw amazing mountain ranges, glaciers, learned a ton, and even did donuts on a frozen lake. Aside from being a great tour guide, Joel is also very personable and had great stories to share throughout the journey. Highly recommend this tour.

Joel the owner and his family are incredibly welcoming, kind, have exceptional pride in their Alaskan home. Their tours are well organized and they are super friendly. Joel offered information that you can only get from a true local. The trip we had was amazing. Brilliant Aurora Borealis (Joel didn’t make that happen-credit where credit is due) but reserving the tour with the Star Wars ship/vessel shaped snow beast ATV was a smart decision.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour which we highly recommend taking if you are ever in the Denali area. Brittany and Joel were piloting these gentle giants on the day of our tour. Both were very knowledgeable about the history in the way of Alaskan living. Brittany, you are an extraordinary woman living your life in the way as your ancestors did. Which we found very interesting and awe inspiring to learn about. Joel, not only did we enjoy the stories and theories About Alaska, we also commend you for finding and providing a better way to do Search and Rescue for people in need. My family absolutely loved this tour. It is so unique from other tours out there. You get to see so much without the exertion of hiking making it perfect for all ages. We were a party of 7, including my 81 year old mom, so we were split across two trucks that went on the same tour. Our guides were Tim and Brittany and both of them are awesome. They shared their stories and gave us some real insight into life in the Denali area. Tim is funny and likes to talk which is good for this tour. Brittany shared what life in Alaska off the grid is like and we found that very interesting. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a relaxed tour that allows you to see the area surrounding Denali. I really believe you will enjoy it.

LOVED IT! So different from your conventional ATV tour and our tour guide Tim was superb. He was funny, personable and very knowledgeable about a variety of topics from wildlife to plant life to geology and more. He made the tour so much fun. We spotted moose in the dry creek bed and even got to cruise around inside the lake. Our transportation driver was also very friendly and welcoming. This tour was worth the cost and is highly recommended! Best of luck to Joel and Tim!
