We had our solar system installed in the Spring of 2023 by Advanced Electric and Solar and I would (and have already) recommend them, with much enthusiasm, to friends and family—and even to people who I meet on the street--anybody who will listen to me preach about solar. They are an exceptionally good company and I was very pleased with every aspect of the service and product that they provided. The customer service shown by Joe set the standard for what one would hope for in an organization as he was knowledgeable, he responded quickly to inquiries, Joe was patient and took the time to explain the many aspects of the process of installing solar and what was needed and what to expect. The quality of workmanship was top-notch. The highest levels of professionalism were shown and I soon felt confident about putting solar up on our roof. I am super happy about the investment in solar, and the results/savings have been more than what I had hoped for. (At the risk of bragging, our first “full-month” of having a Solar panels resulted in an electric bill that was only 81 cents!). I love the fact that there is a website that monitors my panels and shows what they are generating. The website also shows how these savings are positively impacting the environment—which was an additional motivation for my choosing solar. We recently purchased a home in Tucson and we really wanted to explore the idea of having solar panels on our home; not only to lower our electric bills, but because it's a responsible thing to do for the environment. We found out about Advanced Electric and Solar through one of our neighbors. Joe Alitiem explained how the system works, that the panels are constructed of solid materials and are of excellent quality. Joe answered all of our questions. We looked at customer reviews before deciding to go with them. From start to finish it was an organized, easy experience. The workers were friendly, professional and efficient. Joe was there, checking on things and making sure it was going smoothly. It didn't take long at all. Once the panels were installed, the connection to Tucson Electric Power was very smooth. He was also knowledgable about where to go if we needed solar financing as well as tax credits and the paperwork we will need to file next year. It was great to have someone who made the entire process so easy. Joe told us it might take a bit of time to see a difference in our bills. The first full month of having the panels our bill went down from $260 (during the month of June) to $34.87 for July! We are REALLY pleased. We highly recommend Advanced Electric and Solar.

Three years ago we had a new solar system installed at our house by Advanced. Joe gave us a very reasonable bid for a nearly 12 kW system and he was excellent to work with. They are a highly professional company with competent and courteous installers. Our project was a difficult one with an 80-year old clay tile roof but Advanced rose to the challenge and executed the installation perfectly.

Advanced also uses the highest-quality materials and products especially suited for our hot and high-UV environment, so make sure when you get bids that other installers offer the best quality and toughest materials to be able to compare with Advanced.

The system's been operating flawlessly for the past three years and in fact we haven't had an electric bill for over a year and a half! Right now we have a $353 credit with TEP and we couldn't be happier. Not sure if new customers can get in with the same sort of arrangement we have with the utility but hopefully it would be nearly as good.

Joe was a pleasure to work with. He came to my home and provided a honest, competitive quote and did a great job explaining what solar has to offer. He wasn't pushy and did not try to get me to commit to anything; just provided the facts. He does all of the installation work himself and runs a great crew. He's been very responsive to all questions and takes care of everything for the job. You won't be disappointed with Joe. The system has been performing great and I have no doubt that Joe will be there to support me if there are any issues.

Installed a 3.8 kilowatt inverter with 4.8 kilowatt panels high cost wrong design wasted energy. My bill with new insulation, insulated windows and new 21 sere A/C unit. Followup meeting to talk to him about it charged me $170. Said raise thermostat in house? Wouldn’t correct design or repair wouldn’t help me fix it. Going with professional service this time.
