I spoke with Adam on a Monday morning 2 weeks ago about adding more panels to my setup. We reviewed my system and some particulars and he said he would get back to me with a date to come out and give me an estimate. I called again the following Wednesday morning and left a voice message. I never heard a word back from him. Not how to win over new customers!

I rarely give 5-star reviews, but this local company deserves it.

I dislike shopping around getting estimates so when I found Adam and he actually listened to me (unlike the first solar place) I knew I was in good hands.

Pros: I told Adam what I wanted to run with solar and he took the time to design a system to suit my needs. No cookie cutter package from BCI, it wasn't too big or too small. It is just right!

Installation was professional, quick and competent.

Value: his pricing for the total package, design, permits, panels, batteries as well as inverter and installation was very fair.

Best part: When I had numerous questions and a glitch getting my generator to be compatible with the solar set up as a backup, he updated the firmware, listened to me again and returned to ensure the programming was proper and that my generator would function as we both wanted it to. He was not satisfied until I was satisfied. How often do we get that kind of service these days?

Cons: None from BCI just be prepared for delays to get local approval for permits and for your power provider (unless you are off grid) to finally get around to changing your meter.

Adam has done a fantastic job for us and far exceeded our expectations. We were new to off grid living. He asked us what our needs were and built us a system that provides more power than we need! Which is fantastic, especially on cloudy days we have enough reserve to get us through. I can do laundry, run the vacuum and even a1500 watt hair dryer without any worries! He explained how the system works thoroughly and made it easy to manage for us. His work was very detail oriented and precise.
I am happy to give him this review! Adam should be your first call if you are considering a solar system!

I cannot say enough positive things about Adam and BCI Solar. Where do I even begin? To start, he is the only honest solar provider on the mountain. I have dealt with so many shady, lying, solar providers, it is not even funny. We were in a horrible situation because of a previous provider and we needed power fast because we were constantly losing power and heat, having stay in hotels, and spending so much money just to survive. We were set to go with a different shady solar company, had the deal signed, just for them to call and say oops we made a mistake you have to pay $10,000 more. Frustrated and upset, I googled solar in Show Low. I called Adam, explained my situation, and within an hour he was at our house, giving us an opinion of what to do. Because of our horrible situation and all of the things we had gone through, he got us up and running to at least have power within a week. I can’t even name all of the amazing things he did to go above and beyond for us just to make sure that we had heat and basic necessities. This included, but is not limited to: allowing us to borrow his personal generator so we had power because ours was not working and until we received the new one, bringing us gasoline because the propane was frozen, standing outside in the snow and hooking up his personal propane tanks which he went and filled because we didn’t have vehicles to drive in the snow to get propane. And all of this because the previous solar company refused to help us figure out our system to the point that we had absolutely no power in the middle of winter. I cannot thank Adam and his coworker enough for the countless times they saved us in horrible situations. They were the only ones who cared that our family was cold and having to run to hotel rooms in the middle of the night. They are the ONLY solar company I recommend on this mountain. They are the ONLY honest solar company on this mountain. They are the ONLY solar company who will fairly charge you and not rip you off and lie through the skin of their teeth just to make a dime. I hope with every ounce of my being that you read my review before you make the mistake of ever going to anyone besides Adam like we initially did. We could never thank Adam and his coworker enough for everything they did for us. I am forever grateful we found Adam and he is now a friend to us, simply because of how much he cared about us and our well-being.
