I was pretty nervous about connecting an inverter to my solar system and had a ton of questions. I purchased a 3000w inverter and wanted to make sure that I minimize risk as much as possible, and have an efficient system too. Jay patiently answered all of my questions from compatibility, to safety, and also installation best practices. I now have peace of mind knowing that I can get this done right. Thank you Jay and Renogy for the great support with your products!

When I called to get information on a return, I spoke to Camille. She was very helpful . She gave me the time to explain the reason for my call. She quickly pulled my account and was very prompt in providing me with instructions on how to proceed. She went a step further and sent me a copy of my original order which I had not received. I give her a 5 out of 5!!

After turning on my 2000 W inverter connected to (2) 100 AH lithium batteries, I was getting error beeps, then a solid beep, and a red error icon as my inverter turned itself off.
Mr. JAP had me test the voltage of my battery array. We got 13.44 volts. Mr. JAP then had me disconnect the inverter from the battery array test the voltage of the battery array again, and reconnect the batteries to the inverter again and turn on the inverter. It turned on without any of the error beeps and icons that I was getting before my call to Renogy. I then ran a power cord from my inverter out my tent and connected to the shore power cable of my camper and turned on my heater and a light in my pop-up camper to test. It tested fine.
I don't understand how merely disconnecting and reconnecting my inverter to my battery array would solve the problem I was having, but it did and I am happy with that.

Edit: After being transferred past the online chat platform and receiving my warrant case number this experience has been horrible. The emails regarding the issue I have had are brief and rude as if they don't care and want you to just give up with their warranty process. They just talk you in circles repeating themselves and they doubt the customer experience making the customer feel as if they are being called a liar! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND ARE RUDE TO THE CONSUMER!!!! Below is my initial review after dealing with the online help member Joe

I have been using Renogy products for 3 years now and have decently happy. I did just have to use customer service for a product and so far it has been great. I dealt with Joe from customer support and my experience was great! We had great communication and got what needed to be attended to done and I got my warranty case number and am awaiting an email!

After 2 years of good service my charge controller failed. After diagnostics with the Renogy support team, Stephanie arranged for me to receive a replacement under the warranty. I'm now back up and running and my Renogy lithium battery is now being charged again.

I just received my shipment of solar panels, and unfortunately, 1 of them was damaged. I immediately called into the company and was able to visit with Franz! He was so patient with me and explained the process well. He even waited on the line while I composed a quick email with the pictures of the panel. Done!! I am now waiting for my replacement! Great customer service!! I hope their support team is as equally patient when we go to put this all together!! 🙂

I am super impressed with the level of support I received from Renogy customer support - the agent’s name is Franz. He helped me return a device that didn’t meet my needs (I ordered the wrong device), and he assisted me through the return process. Franz’s communication was clearly written and comprehensive. Very professional. Also, he sent several unsolicited progress updates - which were also clear and concise. I have to say that never before have I experienced this level of support from phone or online support.
