Before I resumed my enrollment I called PG&E 1-800-743-5000 and asked them if Greenwave energy is legit. The girl verified they are an authorized CTA “core transport agent” authorized by the CPUC “Public Utility Commission” to operate in the state of California. in other words they are a gas supplier to PG&E participating in The PG&Es core Gas Aggregation service. I also found the program online as well. I just hate they send people door to door it’s 2025 for christ sake!

People don't realize that our power and gas utility, PG&E, was deregulated in 1999. Since then, they have stopped generating electricity and purchasing gas. So, how does the power company make money? They charge delivery and transportation costs. Can they influence the cost of these fees? Yes, they can, and they do so every month. Can they adjust the price per unit of energy while using Greenwave? No. That is the only reason I can use a third-party provider to acquire a fixed price. If you check at your KWH and Therms charges, you'll find that they vary from month to month. There are now two sorts of suppliers: out-of-state and instate. Greenwave can safeguard your therm prices, which is beneficial, however they cannot affect our utility delivery fees. Since we have had Greenwave alone as our gas provider, they have continuously cost us $1.20/therm. The rates have never changed. One therm is about comparable to a gallon of petrol. There are no additional service fees, therefore if we use 20 therms, we will be charged $24 on our utility account for both gas and electricity. I'm familiar with deregulation because the gas and electricity utilities in my hometown on the East Coast have been deregulated for more than four decades. The guy who signed me up was quite knowledgeable. I asked him why he went door-to-door. What he claimed made sense because the utility was required by the public utility commission to make it available for the "Core Gas Aggregation service". These suppliers do not provide direct renewable energy to your home because, as a green supplier, they create the energy from the start. Carbon offsets are only for the trees planted in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. I discovered Greenwave on the Arborday website to validate this information. So, if you believe it is a swindle, thank everyone in California who voted to make deregulation possible. Call the utility directly, and they will tell you that they have to credit each account back for what they would have charged you have a third-party supplier.

Recently, a man named Jeremy approached my door, smoking a cigarette, and asked for my PG&E bill. He claimed to be offering credits for those going green in California. I firmly declined his request and asked him to leave. Afterward, I spoke with a neighbor who informed me about a similar situation with a company called SFE, which resulted in her bill increasing by $200 due to additional delivery fees, and she incurred $400 in cancellation fees. I am grateful I conducted my research beforehand to avoid falling victim to this scam or any misleading offers. I would put no stars if possible

I recently dealt with a deceptive sales representative who promised a California Green Credit, but after four months, my bill surged from $50 to $200. They advertise therms at $1.20, yet impose outrageous delivery fees, buried on page 5 of your bill. If you spot these charges, immediately contact their 800 number and file a complaint with the California Public Utility Commission. The previous post is a fraudulent review for an apartment that doesn’t even use gas. This company will fabricate any story to seize your PG&E bill. They claim to provide "green gas," but all gas travels through the same pipes—it's impossible to offer green gas without installing new infrastructure. Investigate this company on YouTube and Reddit for numerous negative reviews. Warn your neighbors to examine page 5 of their bills and to cancel their service with this company immediately.

Two door two people came down my street, said there servicing the neiborhood to apply a greenshield program to my pge bill for gas. The seemed very energetic and enthusiastic about planting trees and clean energy. I told him I’m not interested because I already got solar, he insisted and told me this is only for the gas portion of my bill. My gas portion of my bill is between $200-$500/mo year round. We need to heat up in the winter jack up the rates, big scam! The guy was a cool dude so I tried it was pretty quick process. I will see if this greenwave supplier or whatever does any justice. Even my solar company sent me true up of $1900.

I have encountered a drastic increase in my gas bill from $120 to $500 after five months, attributed to undisclosed delivery fees. I advise contacting the 800 number on page 5 and the CPUC to report any issues, including any misinformation about credits. Many reviews appear to be fabricated by the owners, Jeremy and Michael Foster, who promise a "green credit" that does not exist, as all gas comes from the same source.

When I Used Zero gas i am chárged $0. If i use 5 therms i am only charged $6.00. The last supplier that came to my door charged me $47/month that was more like a scam. Greenwave/Callective only charged me What i use at a respectable rate. You people in the bad reviews think your being double charged because you dont see or pay attention to your Credits every month. PG&E Always charged for Delivery fees, its nothing new

Worst company ever I have one of the Greenwave representatives come to my house as they’re walking around my neighborhood trying to get us to switch from PG&E to green wave energy. He told me that my bill would be cheaper right now it’s $14.$.60. I got a letter from them stating that they have fees which total $25 I immediately called and canceled as I had never received a fee on my PG&E bill from them before I just got my first bill and there is a $25 fee from green wave energy I called PG&E and they told me granted it was canceled but it takes two billing cycles to cancel so not only do I have to pay a $25 fee this month on a bill that was supposed to be cheaper than $14.60. I have to pay $25 next month again on a bill that was supposed to be cheaper than $14.60, I recommend no one sign up for this company. They are the biggest rip off they lie to homeowners and then this day of inflation homeowners are trying to save money not pay $25 fees to a company that lies to new customers I recommend that no one sign up for for green wave energy as they’re not saving money they’re paying their astronomical fees. A very, very, very unhappy. Ex customer of Green wave energy.
