We booked this campground through Thousand Trails for an event that was happening about 30 minutes away. We weren't expecting anything amazing but this was by far the worst campground we have ever been to. We got in a few minutes after 5 and the office was closed. I had called the day before to confirm the check in process and was told if we got in late there would be a check in packet waiting for us however there was no packet. I called every number for the office, the park manager, and after hours number and could not get through to ANYONE! Finally we just ended pulling into an empty spot and setting up. The hookups were all on the wrong side with the sewer connection being right by our front steps which was gross, and if anyone would have been put next to us our slides would have almost touched. The park as a whole was run down, felt unsafe, and the pool wasn't even operational which was never disclosed. Even after leaving multiple messages on all the numbers I called I never received a call back so late the next morning I called the office to let them know what happened, they took the site number and told us we were fine there and gave the gate code, which we never used since it was broken during our entire 2 week stay, no other information or welcome packet was offered. The laundry room was also disgusting and never seemed to be cleaned. Oh and beware of the stray cats! I love animals but there are a bunch of cats wandering the park that came and peed on our camp chairs! The only good thing about this campground was that it was so close to the event we were attending but we will not be going back in the future.

Start with the fact that is it is almost impossible to get through the gate. If it wasn’t for the residence in the trailer park, you wouldn’t get into the place. You’re supposed to hit the call box to call the office which nobody answers. The gate code is given once you’re through the gate or if you show up after hours, they will call you and give you the code. You would think once you set up your reservations that they confirm it and give you the code. As a Thousand Trails member/encore I would much rather have stayed in a truckstop. Definitely not be returning to this place.

Rv spots are 8’ wide. Literally not enough width for slides without overlapping with your neighbor. Very old park that has never been refitted for infrastructure or design since inception which was probably in the 60s. If you have a 17’ trailer with no slides and need a quick spot it’s fine. Do NOT bring a large class A in here.

Do NOT RECOMMEND. awful from beginning to end. Lots are too close together, hookups are on the WRONG side. Took 2 electric cords, 2 water hoses and 2 sewer hoses. The man that led us to our site was rude. There was a car parked on our site. Had to wait for people to locate their keys .I finally asked to be put on another lot that was large and empty. Seemed to offend the man that I would ask. There were multiple empty lots so WHY try to pack us in. The only positive was the young girl that checked me in. Marked in my book NEVER AGAIN.

The local people who live here think they own the park. Why would you want to vacation here when the locals in the pool listen to music over a loud speaker that's not appropriate for kids. You can't enjoy the pool when they are blasting music with terrible words that shouldnt even be spoken. It's not even they were playing music I didn't like that would have been tolerable to what they were listening to. WE WONT BE BACK. It's very run down didn't feel welcome. The spots aren't marked that great for late check in.no real assistance for late checking, your stuff is in a box and the security that drives around dont really know anything they just drive around for safety, like a third party company. This park is more run down and isnt easy to get into its more foe for people living in trailers full time.

Absolutely awful, pictures are not what you see in person, I work from out of town so I called this place and made a month reservation one month and pre payed for it then made my 16 hour drive, when I got there it was totally not what was described to me! They wouldn’t give me a refund I have made several attempts to get my money back and the woman at the front desk told me you just out of luck, it’s highway robbery and it’s absolutely disturbing that they do this to people

This RV park is extremely close and tight fitted. They left no extra room. They say they pick up the garbage every morning but they didn’t for my side the garbage piled up until I left. I hope I never have to stay here again. I was part of the organization, the worst trails site I’ve ever stayed at.
