Excellent Experience with Joe Ward & the CKR Team

We recently had the pleasure of working with Joe Ward and the CKR team for the installation of a solar system, including solar panels, a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery storage, and a SPAN smart panel. From start to finish, Joe was exceptional in explaining the benefits of each component and how they would work together to enhance our home's energy efficiency.

Joe took the time to thoroughly explain the entire installation process to my wife and I, ensuring we were comfortable and informed during every step. The installation team—Dylan, Jeremiah, RJ, Alex, and Braxton—were outstanding. They were not only knowledgeable but also attentive to our questions and requests. Every detail was addressed with care, and the team made sure to leave the work area spotless once the job was completed.

Joe also provided us with a comprehensive walkthrough of the apps that came with our system, making sure we knew how to monitor and manage our energy usage effectively. More importantly, Joe didn't just disappear after the sale; he made follow-up calls and visits to ensure that we were completely satisfied with our solar system.

What made us 'go solar'? ​It's simple. We met Joe Ward ... the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He didn't come across as a salesman at all ... that's a plus for us! We had an opportunity to chat more with Joe. Again, in his gentle, no pressure demeanor he barely mentioned solar. It was then I asked him a simple question, "Why should we consider solar?" His answer was simple, "Stop the bleeding." And, that was that. Joe offered to review our power bills from the last year to see if solar was even a good fit for us. He felt confident we could have solar for less than we're paying now for power. True to his word he texted me and offered to come to our home and lay it out for us.

Joe was with us for the whole process - from start to finish. Always available by phone or text - questions were quickly answered. Our installers commented how Joe is very available to customers and they often found him on the jobsite, often working side by side with them.

It is rare to find a salesman who is so hands on, but Joe certainly is one who cares about his customers.

I’d be lax if I didn’t give kudos to our lead installer, Dylan, who was meticulous and diligent in his work. Rarely do contractors impress my husband, but Dylan did!

If you opt to ‘go solar’ I can certainly recommend Joe and all the installers.
