They started out great and appeared to do a good job cutting a big branch hanging over my house. And now I'll remember them for a long time as every day I go in and out of my house there are oil stains on our walkway and driveway that they left behind. Their first response was for me to clean it up, followed by they'll come out and do it when the cleaning solution arrives. They did their work on April 10th. Haven't heard a peep from them despite numerous attempts to get them to clean it up. We aren't talking a few drops, their equipment leaks a lot of oil. Even their truck left a big stain on the street in front of the house. When you see how sloppy they are on the ground it makes me wonder how many tiles they might have cracked on the roof.

This company did a fantastic job. We had a very old tree grand father oak 65 year old according to our arborist, who recommended Thomas Hall & his company H&H Environmental Services. They did a fantastic job.
They perfectly explained the entire process. Also they gave us advice on future projects. Which I will hire them and only them for. They have great crews and hard workers and they get the job done right.

I am extremely baffled at the lack of communication, by this company. If I never reached out to the company to acquire a date, I would of never obtained one. I called the day before our scheduled day, only to find out it was canceled- I would of never been made aware of I did not contact the office. When Staff arrived to the property to provide and estimate, it was Just verbal. However, the documented estimate did not match up to what was verbalized. When the workers arrived on site, the work was sub par- before I could check the work, they had already left for another job. Needless to say, Tom did call and talk to me at my displeasure with the services. The company came back the next day, to complete the job, I thought. I had to finish the job myself, I feel this project was a waste of money and time. I wouldn’t recommend this company, I have several reservations.

Tom and Brian did a great job for my mom. They came out and provided an estimate and were able to start really quickly. She was extremely happy with the result and the price was fair. I will definitely recommend them in the future.

Let’s start off by saying H & H Environmental was recommended to me. I normally like recommendations because I trust the people who pass on companies. However, this is one recommendation I could have not followed. Tom and Brain were quick in providing me an estimate. It is after the estimate that the experience began to go downhill. If you like chaos and poor planning this is definitely a tree service you should go with.
First the receptionist is awesome don’t get me wrong she can only provide so much information, but the company itself is very poorly organized. I received my estimate in less than a day of calling them which was great. However, once I decided Tom was the guy for me everything started to fall apart. It took me a week to “set” appointment; which ended up not really being set in stone apparently.
No one could give me a time frame of when someone would be out, which kind of sucked because well you are taking down two oaks and I want to make sure someone is there to oversee it. So, no time and no call back to confirm the appointment until I called two days before the scheduled day. Still not sure if they could make it to the “appointment” a day later they finally confirm and still can’t provide a time. Well sadly the day comes and its almost 3pm and no one has come by to work on the trees. So, I have to reach out, because no one is calling me, to ask what happened. I am told “they are on their way now” which of course makes me happy. But 20 minutes later I get a call back saying, “they went to the wrong job and will not be out today.” How can a company confirm an “appointment” and then “go to the wrong job?”
Due to the inconvenience and poor communication among the staff and company I was stood up. But the funny part is I had to be the one to reach out every time to figure out what was going on. I was told “I’m sorry, but they will be out tomorrow.” No compensation for wasted time or their guys going to some other job instead of the one “appointed.” And get this it’s the next day and they are late by an hour. All of this before the trees are even being worked on. I haven’t even seen what they can do or if it is even worth the hassle. But this experience before the completed job is what is made me leave a review.
If you want to deal with holding someone’s hand and being in the dark about if or when the job you are paying a pretty penny for will get done, I recommend H and H Environmental. But if you would like a bit more organization and planning for the chunk of money you will be dropping for a tree service I would recommend you try someone else.

Update they couldn’t make it to the job on time, but they sure as anything took my money as fast as possible. Glad to see your priority isn’t customer happiness, but the check at the end.

We bought a house surrounded by beautiful massive 60 year old oaks. Most over or within reach of the house. It's like living in a fairy tale until it's not. When they start dropping and turning brown it is terrifying. I've seen Thomas and the guys at H&H dismantle nightmares like it was nothing. It's amazing to watch. Highly skilled and extremely professional.

If you have tree problems and need an arborist, I would highly recommend H&H.
