Eighth grade was definitely the most stressful year out of all of them. The building is too small; can’t fit everyone in the auditorium. There aren’t enough lockers for everyone to have one. There are some teachers that you should be aware of. For instance, Ms. Bernal. She’ll make your year miserable with homework and loves to give you 30s for grades. Despite that, I do believe it’s a great school. You’ll learn a lot and s o m e people are actually nice.

Hello, my name is Brandon Plascencia and i am starting as a 7th grader at Desa. I just wanted to say that this school may not look very pretty but every teacher I have met at this school have been so kind I love their methods of teaching, and the councilor, she is the only one that I’ve seen that does way more than just sit in a office all day she does more than just that she monitors makes sure all the kids are in check and she is amazing to talk to. There is many programs that you can participate and they are so much fun. But overall this is an incredible school for children to both learn to behave and become even more intelligent, (very good opportunity’s) but I would highly recommend this school.

I wanted to cry all 3 years, it was stressful, so much drama went on, but it was a good school. Beware of Ms.Bernal, she made me wanna die every time I saw her, not to mention she likes to fake grades sometimes. An amazing teacher though was Mrs.Dansby. She always made my B-Day better after having Bernal.

So I was part of the 8th grade graduating class of 2018 and I have to say if it wasn't for the staff that was there I wouldn't have been accepted in to townview. Ms.thomas the counselor was amazing and Mr.Zuniga the principal is absolutely incredible. I have to say that these past three years were absolutely amazing. Lots of high school classes that are offer and teachers can be a little heavy on the homework but it is o ly to prepare you for life. Nothing is going to be easy an they want to challenge you and your mind.

The schools alright but I get very very sad whenever I go to Ms. Bernal or Ms. Kims class. Ms. Bernal supports favoritism and Ms. Kim is a horrible teacher and she hates me, I’m convinced that Ms. Kim is actually a crazy person. Also the school is SO SMALL.

I’m gonna admit in 6th grade there were some problems with the building. But now there aren’t really any. Also there were plenty of lockers but they’re remodeling upstairs so we can have labs to teach our full science potential. It may not seem much to the eye but at DESA we are a family. It’s pretty stressful for me but that only means that I’m getting more challenged and prepared for the real world because not everything is cupcakes and rainbows. Mr. Haroon has a great debate team. Ms. White and her diva steppers are amazing. The soccer team is also really good. At DESA the entire staff helps us reach our full potential. I must admit I’ve made some pretty good friends and sending your kid to DESA would be a truly amazing experience

Overall a very good school but Ms.Brooks is a hypocrite, if you don’t turn in an assignment once, she says that you never turn them in. She gave a a zero once for turning an assignment 5 minutes late
