We called because one of our walls in our manufactured home was emitting a fish smell. He knew exactly what the problem could be and was able to come over the morning of the next day. He checked all of the outlets on the wall, but found no problems. Then he checked where our cable internet was installed and found that the installer had drilled through some wires which were frayed and melting, causing the smell. He was able to replace just that damaged section and he kept the hole small and easy to repair. Also he answered all our questions, and was very efficient and reasonably priced. I will be calling him again for any future electric needs.

Hands down, Rick is the Electrician you have been searching for! I spent 12 years in the Army and 3 tours of War, been around the world and back again, and judge of character I would like to think I have. Ricks characteristics:

On the recommendation of a friend (Howell were the commercial electrical contractors that had done the interior lighting and electrical wiring during the recent bathroom remodeling projects at their office which they were really satisfied with), I called Howell Electrical repair service on a busy Thursday. After asking thorough questions of the electrical work that needed to be done, we set an appointment for the very next day. The licensed electrician showed up promptly, did a thorough electrical inspection, quickly troubleshooted the issues, identified three problems in our kitchen and fixed them within the hour. The audio visual problem took the longest but now I can finally watch TV in my kitchen without seeing any wires! He was very professional and knowledgeable, quick and efficient. We had attempted to have our electrical problems fixed by a kitchen remodeler prior to calling Howell and obviously he did not diagnose or repair the problems effectively. I highly recommend Howell Electric to anyone who wants their electrical failures fixed right the first time. We are considering utilizing some solar energy next Summer to save on power bills and will be calling these residential electricians back for more info at that time.

Called for an estimate and they said they would be out between 2 and 4pm. They never showed up or called for an update. Ended up going on offer up and found a better electrician
