On August 23, 2024, I had my first appointment with Mike to receive a quote for solar and battery backup. Prior to the meeting, I was under the impression that someone would inspect the meter and present a detailed plan, as discussed with a representative earlier. However, when Mike arrived, he seemed to expect a sit-down discussion, which I hadn’t anticipated. He gave me his pitch, including recommendations and pricing. I asked if he could email me the prices, and he agreed.When I hadn’t heard back, I followed up with an email on August 29 requesting the quote. His response was, "Ya, you didn’t give me much opportunity. So once you want a REAL sit down, I’d love to show you, but standing in the driveway for 3 minutes, I’m not sending anything as that wasn’t even a fair conversation."

How was it an unfair conversation? We engaged in a brief conversation. I ended our conversation with, do you need anything from me? He replied, no.

If you have all the information to draft a quote, what’s the purpose of a sit-down? Is it just to waste my time?

All I need to know is the cost and the timeline. Is that unreasonable, or am I missing something?

Well.. RUN FAST!!! This company is a joke!! I have been fighting with this since May now. System doesn't do what I was told it would or sold on. Supposed to be at 134% utilization and I have 17 panels and 2, yes 2 batteries for back up. Not even running my air and just a normal fall day Oct 23,2024 and by evening BOTH batteries are at 5%. I have talked to two other solar company's to see if this is normal.. both laughed and said NO.
I have done the leg work on getting the system up and running, by making calls to inspecotors and then PGE to find out they denied my permit to operate due to my signiture not on the forms.. umm hello?! WTH.. really.. dont you think the company, a solar company would know that. Finally after months and months and failed inspections.. and leg work on my end the system is active... GREAT right.. NO, unit breaks 3 days after and breaker is bad.. they repair only to have me report to them.. still not working and they find out they have to replace the breaker. Side note.. I can hear tech on phone trying to figure out what to do.. LOL So 2 service calls with in a week.. 2 DEAD or 5% dead batteries at night and bill for solar and now PGE!? UM, no I have found a company to remove the equipment and will have to take to court at this point I am guessing.. anyway... long story but trying to save someone else from my nightware with Air Sun Solar... DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!

So this is all new to me and very unsure of what to look for. Mike Thomas was the best, he answered all my questions and the ones I didnt even know to ask. Worked with me to get the best option for my home. He was a referral to me by a neighbor and I will defiantly refer to him as well. Anyone that is looking or thinking about solar call him!!

Hands down the Air Sun Solar is the Best company to work with. Never dealt with more professional people. Every employee on site went over and beyond to make sure we knew what daily schedule was and the progress. I've honestly have never worked with such a professionally well trained company. Stop paying all these hikes and high bills. Go Solar and Definately Call AIR SUN SOLAR! YOU WONT BE LET DOWN! I hope owner pays his employees well because they are the nicest bunch of people to work with. Give them a call now AIR SUN SOLAR.

Air Sun installed my Sunpower system. Have had issues since day 1 of operation. Now dealing with the fixes. They also did not take into account my roof style when picking my bird mesh and we had to remove it as it left gaps with the S-tile roof. They were not responsive and field crew left portions where the flashing didn't sit 100% right on the tile. Hoping there aren't any roof leak issues this winter. Field tech from sunpower pointed out install issues which may have been causing micro arching. I would not use them for any solar work.
In reply to the response below: power output was way down since PTO (50%). After your non-responsiveness and the field crews as well (I pointed out concerns at install but was brushed off), I went through sunpower and tech finally came out on 8/11/23. PTO was 6/15/23. Still having issue with 1 panel. I repeat that I would not use your company for install Your crew did a bad job

Hi, I just had my solar put in. As for the process of getting solar, with SunPower/AirSun Solar, it was pleasant and kept me in the loop of every part of the process. Every-time I called a friendly person was on the line happy to help with any questions I had. Very informative and with great detail. Installers were also very prompt on time, pleasant and explained anything I questioned. Very satisfied so far. Have to wait and see how good the solar works, fingers crossed! Thanks for making the process smooth.

Air Sun recently installed a SunPower system on our home. The reason I trusted Air Sun? Honesty and quality service!!! Austin came out and spent a lot of time patiently explaining every detail of the system that would benefit us the most. He wasn't interested in selling us something we didn't need. The installation process was super smooth and each employee took pride in what they were doing. My wife and I are very pleased with our system and have recommended family and friends without hesitation to Air Sun.

Air Sun Solar has been great. This review is as of installation. Every part of the process has been smooth. Quote and sales pitch were straightforward and not heavy handed. Was comparible to the two other SunPower quotes I received, but a little bit cheaper. Small premium over non-SunPower solar companies, but the quality, performance, and long term efficiency easily overcome that in the current market. Anne has been accomodating with scope increase and random questions. Install crew was great. Every single person on the crew was friendly and professional. They really knew what they were doing and the final product shows that. Roof conduit is all hidden under the panels and into the attic. Conduit at the subpanel is perfection. PVS box above the subpanel looks great and is again, positioned perfectly. The crew was very friendly and shared a lot of great information about the system. They entertained A LOT of questions. App is all connected and waiting on City sign off. Would jump at the opportunity to recommend Air Sun Solar.
