Absolute garbage of a company. From Connie who answers the phone to the actual "plumber" Nick who comes out to act like he's going to do the service, there is honestly nothing good that this company does. Had an addition built to our house and our brand-new standup shower stopped draining mid-shower within 3 months of use. This caused a minor flood in our bathroom that we were lucky enough to contain. This was Tuesday night. Contacted our contractor and said it is under warranty so Connie from A1 said the soonest they could get someone here is Thursday. Okay, understood. Thursday comes around and the guy shows up. He couldn't fix the problem so he said they'd be back with a machine that can go further into the pipe (300 feet) and shoot 4000 psi so they can then camera the problem. Left a mess in the bathrooms, didn't replace the shower drain he removed, and walked through the house with dirty shoes. Wait until 9 AM on Friday to call Connie because no one has shown up yet. She finally responds to let us know that their machine isn't working so they won't be back out to our house until Monday. How a company can claim they offer 24/7 service and not provide it is false advertising and unethical. An entire weekend without the ability to use our plumbing warrants an emergency. Here we are, Monday morning, and I again have to call for a status and ETA from Connie. The guys show up at 9 AM and Nick is terrible. Rude, unhappy, small old man with what I can only guess is a Napoleon complex because his initial interaction is abrasive and downright awful. No tact and "empathy" is a foreign word to that guy. We haven't had our plumbing working since Tuesday night so it's been almost a full week. They stand outside of the house, never coming in, to claim that the issue is not covered by our warranty which is now misleading from the statements the original guy from Thursday said and we've waited this long for them to now leave and not do anything! Nick even claimed that he's been here before and we've never used them! I would never choose to use this company if it was between them and the devil. My husband has sent them off and called Grable Plumbing and they are coming out today. Avoid A-1 Southern Plumbing company at all costs and even if you're told your warranty covers the work needed, I would still avoid using them due to their lack of skills, knowledge, and abilities to fix a job they did not do well from the start.

Cindy came out today installed pot filler above stove & water line for freezer in less than an hour. It was awesome seeing a woman plumber with almost 30yrs experience. She was wonderful & helpful with some new house tips! Thanks so much guys

Would not recommend!
Came out to our house to assess plumbing issue and proceeded to tell us what we should do to fix the problem. They did not want to do the work while there and then wanted to charge us a $165 trip charge.

We ended up having Meares Plumbing come and fix problem. They came out same day. Their prices are very reasonable (plus their trip charge is only $65)

Highly unprofessional and totally unresponsive. This is our default plumbing company through our home warranty. We have been trying to get some basic issues serviced for over two months. After finally arranging a date and time, they failed to show up during their scheduled 11-1 window on 10/24/23. I called several times after 1pm and the call was not answered. I left a voicemail which was not returned. I don’t understand a company that would completely fail to show up to a job, then utterly fail to communicate with the customer. Wild to me.

We used A-1 Plumbing multiple times over the years of owning our home. The big job that I am reviewing was the replacement of our sewer main and the install of a clean-out. They did this job about 5 years ago (2015).

Fast Forward to 2020, My back neighbor is having sewer issues and they call out the county due to it looking as though the county's pipe may have been the cause. Due to the neighbor's house not having a clean-out for the camera to scope through, we were contacted by our neighbor for access. We happily contacted Pasco County Utilities and had them out. The utility workers were fantastic and when they were done they commented on the quality of the job A1 Plumbing did installing the line. To quote them, "It still looks beautiful. They did a fantastic job. You should be happy."

So I am leaving a review on a sewer main that was done FIVE years ago because we were COMPLIMENTED on the work that was done. Totally worth it.

Twice now I’ve used this business and twice I’ve had amazing service. Cindy is awesome. She’s very thorough and gets the job done. First time was for my hot water heater and faucet repair and this time my leaky shower faucet. This is my go to business and ask for Cindy she gets the job done.

Worse service I have ever encountered! in May 2023 put in, which we found out, was a 100$ toilet and charged me 473$. Clogs today, brand new toilet, and wants 350$ to move toilet. I do not recommend these guys!
