Hot water, one of the luxuries that we all mostly take for granted. We recently found out as our water heater went down for the count. Online I found Family Plumbing and gave them a call. Cindy answered at their office and greeted me with a very positive attitude. She took my information and let me know that a technician was in the area and could stop by to evaluate our issue. Gerardo was at our door 15 minutes later. Gerardo was professional and assessed our issues. He gave me four different options with prices. I had already decided on replacing our tank style and had a lot of questions. Gerardo took the time to answer all my concerns and we did go with a tankless water heater system. The job could be started the next morning. The next morning, installers Elias and Victor arrived on time and jumped on to the job immediately. It was obvious that they both were experts at their craft. Also very polite and professional. The installation went smoothly and before we knew it we had endless hot water. As the job ended Victor tested the water pressure coming from the street and suggested a pressure reduction valve because it was high. Gerardo came back and gave us a quote and then he and Elias installed it to bring the pressure to an acceptable level. Family Plumbing is now my go to company for all plumbing, heating & air conditioning and I highly recommend them. One last thing is they have a family membership plan that untitles you to yearly maintenance of all systems as well as discounts, and that is a smart way to keep them all running for years to come. I met AAVCO Plumbing tech, Kyle Severance while visiting a relative. Kyle was conducting a maintenance call. From start to finish Kyle was professional and polite.
His uniform was clean and his entire demeanor was great. He identified and introduced himself. He explained why he was there and what the visit would entail. After his inspection and maintenance he sat down, showed photos of what he did and discussed possible things that might need to be addressed down the road. Best part, there was zero pressure to add anything on to the visit. I mean ZERO pressure sales. Also the yearly maintenance plan is a STEAL!! Do it. You will not regret it
I was so impressed I booked a visit for my residence on the spot. My relative has used this company for over 20 years. I highly recommend them. And ask for Kyle! You will be impressed.

Ryan Millhollin called me 1/2 hour ahead of time to let me know he would be on his way, he was on time and very respectful. He also ensured he covered his shoes before entering our home, which I do appreciate. He explained all the work that he did and all available upgrades. Heater yearly maintenance service on 11/12/24. Service tech, Anthony arrived within time window. Very thorough in checking system and very explanatory in what was checked. Made good recommendations on what could be done to the heater to give it as long a life as possible. Anthony is very personable and was easy to talk with. Also appreciated his kind heart towards caring for rescue dogs.

Jacob Diaz was the best, sat down went through all my options, explained how the system works how the new system will work. Even told me that he could fix the old one if that’s what I wanted. Thank you so much Jacob.
So I wanted to give an update to my review. Jacob was really nice, explained what I thought I was getting. But he wasn’t truthful. He told me my air ducts needed cleaning. I said yeah I know but just haven’t done it. The way Jacob explained it they were going to clean them so it was like everything was new.
Come to find out it’s not including, and they want $550 on top of what I already paid. And when I was signing the contract he said it was all included. I didn’t have time to read it word for word. So don’t take their word for it. He told me what I wanted to hear to make the sale.

Anthony, our Technician,, was amazing! He diagnosed our AC problem within about five minutes of being here. Explained everything in easy to understand terms, but not condescending, and the Repair was done quickly and the house was already cooling off before he even left. I will be requesting this Technician every time from now on. Excellent work. We purchased the optional maintenance plan because we were so pleased with his service. Plus, bonus, he was super cool with our dogs. A+++++

Kyle and Geramy were very professional and courteous in the servicing of our two HVAC systems. They explained all options available and the order of importance in which the repairs/upgrades could be tackled. We also appreciate the fact they did not exaggerate the current lack of performance by our HVAC systems. It did not feel as though they were trying to unnecessarily upsell us. I recommend these gents for their transparency and professionalism.
