I have had issues with this company since I bought solar back in March! Can’t get any answers and when I do it’s my heater and AC need to be replaced and now I see they do that as well.... sounds awfully fishy to me! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Here it is 7 months later from my initial post and still have no change in my service nor electric bill…. They PROMISED to put more panels on as they think that is the issue….. the panels that came were supposedly the wrong ones! This panels are STILL sitting on my driveway!!! They were blown all over the yard during TS Fred!!!

Attached is a picture of these panels being ruined and collecting mold in my driveway….. maybe time to seek legal advice!

After going through Suncor Solar and waiting a year to get my panels installed and failing multiple inspections, pretty much having the worst experience ever, the gentlemen at Affordable Energy Center literally had multiple people on the phone addressing all my problems and taking care of my issues literally within 20 minutes of leaving a voicemail. Still waiting on some more info but definitely satisfied with the help i have received 🙂

Signed up to get solar panels and pool panels back in February. They gave us one price, then came back almost 2 months later and said they gave us the wrong price and needed to add a battery and that the price was also going up because we wanted everything mounted on the ground. They said it would have to be special ordered but would be installed as soon as they get it. Finally by June we were tired of waiting and also our first payment was due in July. So we said to install the pool panels on the roof and the solar panels on the ground.
The battery that they said we would need to cover in the evenings didn’t happen because come to find out, it won’t cover our house in the evenings. So, finally the pool panels were installed(on the roof, which we didn’t want to begin with), and they are awesome! Would definitely recommend those to anyone with a pool.
About 2 weeks before the payment was due July, our solar panels on the ground were up and running. But, we still haven’t been refunded any of the money for the battery or the ground mounts that the pool panels were supposed to go on. These things are not cheap and I feel like we are being ripped off. The whole ordeal has been crazy. If I would have know the customer service was going to be like this, we would have went with a different company.
And don’t get me wrong, solar is the way to go, but I don’t think getting ripped off in the process is the best business!!!

Have a bunch of outside sales reps that well sell you a dream! Do not go with this company! Maybe trusted 25 years in hvac , but not Solar! A bunch of shady people that take advantage of others. They will sell you your solar quick or finance , but good luck getting anyone out if anything breaks. They pay people minimum and take more for them selves off the top . Do yourself a favor and go with another organised company.

I was told several un truth's which were 8500 dollar rebate the next year wrong it takes pro rated funds as a rebate per tax advisr I was told I would see no electric bills wrong the most discount I see is 10 dollars and I pay 20 dallars a month in the net meter!
If I don't here from aec I will consult with an atty!

Sales rep came to the house in January gave me a quote we got along great, going to get solar plus upgrade my a/c which I knew I had to replace when I bought my house just a year ago(he couldn’t believe it was still running). Told me it could be 3-4mos. Solar was up and running in March/April. Still waiting on my a/c. Finally called in June to find out status, nothing had been ordered(1st ?), sent pics so they could see what I had per their request instead of having to send someone over(2nd ?). Whenever I call/text it either goes unanswered completely or they answer and say they need to look into it and will call me back which has NEVER happened, I always end up calling them back and it starts all over again ?. I was giving them a week between each call. All my coworkers tell me it’s time for legal action, I really don’t want to do it but they might be right ‍♀️‍♀️ My advice is, if you’re going to use them just let them stick to the solar part don’t let them talk into any “extras” they try to sell you.
