Shane was early. He came through with some knowledge on asbestos and taught me a few things about it. I had to get some spots tested for asbestos in the house I just purchased. Im waiting for results now. I will do business with affordable environmental services if needed in the future. professional and knowledgeable is what I was looking for!!! Keith and his crew from Affordable Environmental Services did an outstanding job from start to finish.

While renovating our living space, we decided to replace the old carpet with something new. When we took the old carpet up, instead of concrete, we found old vinyl-looking tiles on some kind of black glue. Our carpet installers were concerned about asbestos, so we called Keith at AES to come out and test both the tile and glue.

Unfortunately, both came back as asbestos containing materials, but we called Keith and scheduled removal for the following Monday. They did a great job. Service was fast, professional, and friendly. Couldn't ask for anything more during a stressful setback on our renovation.

I started rehabbing a rental and quickly realized that the drywall in my 1960s house might contain asbestos. I immediately stopped my crew so we could get the drywall tested. I took a sample up to Richard at 9:30 the next morning and asked that he test it as quickly as possible since I had a crew standing by. He originally said he'd have results the next day, which I was happy with. Richard then decided to go above and beyond and he went ahead and took the sample to the lab right away. By 11:30, the same day i had my results. Richard and his team are awesome. If you need asbestos testing done quickly and accurately, these are your guys

In the last 9 months I have had 5 asbestos abatements on my home. This was my first time using Affordable Environmental Services, and they are hands down THE BEST. The owner, Keith, was very thorough on the phone and answered all my questions. He had someone out to test within hours, literally. We had the test results back the same day (Friday). Richard was in constant contact with me and was always available. He answered all of my questions with complete honesty, whether it was what I wanted to hear or not. He was very transparent and upfront about their costs, procedures, and policies. I had an abatement team out the morning of the second business day after contacting AES (Tuesday). Miguel was very friendly and explained everything to me in great detail. The crew was very professional and treated my home with respect. They were also VERY clean. The space was left cleaner than they found it, and if you've ever worked with contractors/abatement crews you know this is very hard to find. Everyone was incredible prompt, respectful, professional, and patient with all my questions. I felt very comfortable with this company and every single person I came in contact with. I can be a very difficult consumer, but this company gets an A+ in my opinion.

During my home remodel, found that there was a possibility of asbestos underneath the vinyl tile that was existing in the home. Contacted Keith with AES and he came out that same evening and took test samples to be tested within one day. One area did come back with a positive test and Keith and his team were here the very next day to remove the asbestos and certify the area. Love this company. Family owned and operate, the most competitive pricing I could find and I really like that they use a local lab that is owned by members of the community. They were very helpful and prompt when I scheduled my testing and got me proposals quickly for different abatement options.

The highest praise I can give though is this: You know how sometimes you take your car into a mechanic and you sort of worry they are going find problems where there are none, tell you that everything needs replaced RIGHT NOW or it will blow-up, etc. and other nonsense? But then you find a mechanic that is really straight with you. They say "This NEEDS fixed, and now. This will soon, but even if you don't till it totally goes out that's okay. And that stuff is just annoying, but harmless and you can fix it if you like, but that is just personal preference. You could fix it yourself too."

You trust that person. They clearly aren't trying to sell you things you don't have to have and they let you know what your options are. That's exactly how the Dorn family was (in my experience) and that attitude of empowering the customer with information and options is reflected in their website. I really appreciated all my interactions with this company/family and they are going in "collection" of professionals that I trust as the only people I'll be calling for asbestos and lead paint concerns.
