Just had Affordable Solar install my Solar Panels and Tesla Battery. My contact was ANGEL Fleites and she was fantastic! Professional, knowledgeable, prompt and pleasant to work with. I had gone through at least 5-6 other companies before signing with Affordable. Angel listened to my needs and delivered. The Install was flawless. They beat every other company on price and got my battery included! Unlike the other companies. Thank You Affordable Solar and ANGEL!

I had a solar system installed by Affordable Solar and Roof, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. I encountered two significant issues that speak to both service quality and follow-through on promises made during the sales process.

First, my solar system lost connection to the app, which I depend on to monitor my energy usage. After trying various troubleshooting steps without success, I contacted Affordable Solar and Roof, only to be told there would be a $250 service fee to check the system. This was never mentioned during the sales process—in fact, I was assured that support would be available at no cost if any issues arose.

The second issue started during installation. One of the installers accidentally stepped on an unsupported area in the attic, which caused significant damage, leaving a hole in my ceiling and scattering insulation throughout my home. I understand that mistakes happen and didn’t have a problem with this part; however, the way the repair was handled left much to be desired. I contacted Guy from the company, who sent someone a few days later to fix it. However, I had to spend $300 on immediate cleanup since the scattered insulation was reportedly chemical-based and challenging to remove.

While the contractor repaired the ceiling and reinstalled the light fixture, he refused to paint the patch, leaving an unfinished look. Worse yet, when I recently changed out my lighting fixtures, I discovered that the ceiling hole was only partially patched and had been hidden behind the light fixture—an incomplete and unprofessional repair.

I initially held off on posting a review, hoping the issues would be addressed, but after repeated disappointments, I feel obligated to share my experience. I trusted Affordable Solar and Roof based on promises of quality service and reliable support. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from that, and I would advise potential customers to proceed with caution

Angel Fleites was a pleasure to work with and walked us through the entire process and handled all of the permitting along with providing us updates every step of the way regarding our project. We were one of the first houses in our community to install solar panels, getting the okay from the HOA seemed to be the hardest part of the whole operation and even that was easier than expected. The other neighbors all said the panels worked just as expected. Everyone we worked with has been very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The Tesla app is nice and simple to understand, not too much information but gives you all the necessary info. Angel could sell anything to me and I’d buy! Very very nice.

We installed a Tesla Powerwall 3 through Affordable Solar. Their pricing beat out the competition significantly and we were impressed with their history in the solar business. The Tesla app seems easy enough to understand & seems to do all the decision making to save the most money. I was worried about the panels or shingles being damaged in a storm, but all the panels are under warranty and they're a roofing company as week so they'll know how to fix the shingles. If you live on the coast and frequently face hurricanes, I'd strongly recommend reaching out to Affordable Solar Roof & Air.

Affordable Solar Roof & Air installed 25 Q cell panels on my roof paired to two Tesla inverters. Overall I’ve been very satisfied with the installation, communication, and quality of the work. I was interested in the government incentives for solar panels so I started shopping around and settled on Affordable because of their military discounts/ overall best price. The installers were very meticulous and came back the next day rather than rushing the install in one day.

The timeline for getting the system on was just at 2 months like they promised. We shipped around with two other companies before landing on Affordable but knew they would be the right choice after meeting with their representative Angel. She is truly amazing and always had us as a top priority even as I was in the hospital for the tail end of the install.
