We bought our home about a year ago, and had noticed that water was intruding into our finished basement a couple weeks back. I had AFS come out install an interior drainage system for my finished basement this week. John Jones and Gavin did an absolutely incredible job with the installation. Their finished product was exceptionally clean, and they did a great job with the dust control. John Jones was very thorough and mindful of the details while explaining how the system would be installed and showing us each step of the process. I can’t emphasize enough how professional the guys were. I also want to thank Abe Austin who came out and performed the initial inspection. He was able to quickly identify the areas of concern around the perimeter of the basement and was very knowledgeable about the appropriate repair. I would gladly recommend AFS to anyone who needs foundation repair!

This company is absolutely amazing! Seth Thomas was on time, knowledgeable, respectful, and honest. He kept in contact with me during the whole process. He was helpful in explaining, in detail, every issue and how to fix it. He had pictures and answered all my questions.
Stephen Gilland was the the foreman. He called and explained the plan for the day. He called when he said he would, was on time, and answered every text or phone call I made. He was clean and professional. I didn't have a single issue. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

I couldn’t have asked for a better company to help us fix our home nightmare. After a poorly done home inspection three years ago, our house’s crawl space was mold infested and falling apart. When Parker came out to diagnose the problems he was thorough, communicative, and kind. He walked us through everything that had gone wrong and why, and how they intended to fix it. I appreciated the videos and visual aids in explaining as well. The construction team came out quickly and worked throughly. They were communicative, texted us arrival times for the day, and worked well with hardly any interruption to our work from home lives. I can’t recommend this company enough. The new crawl space is beautiful!

Hired AFS several years ago. Had issues on other side of the house. Decided to hire them again. They sent out Preston, Gustavo, and Roberto. 3 guys 5 tiers with concrete work. I went outside several times to check it out. They all were steady paced work around each other like a dance of sorts. Great teamwork. Super polite and easy to talk too. I highly recommend AFS for foundation work. I met two crews, had a great salesman, and spoke with numerous staff during the process of my repairs and was very impressed. The crew (Nathaniel Pastrama, Stephen Rivas, and Preston Rivas) worked non-stop for 3 days to install helical piers under one side of my 2-story home and a patio wall on a slope. They actually lifted my foundation back to level and all obvious cracks closed up. I am very happy.
The process is amazing; the crew was thorough, professional; and they were careful with my yard and landscaping, and cleaned up before they left. I have the utmost confidence in the work, as I was here to see the process from start to finish. I would advise anyone having this type of extensive and technical work done to stay on top of the process, including scheduling….especially the amount of time the company schedules for the job. I appreciate the attitudes and cooperation I encountered with the AFS team (from Alabaster). The process is expensive….so be prepared. But delaying repair could lead to much greater and more expensive solutions.
