Attempted to deliver a trash can full of household chemical items on Set 20th 2024. I waited for approx. 1 hour in line just to be told that I was in the wrong line, that I would need to go approx. 1/4 mile down the road to their other entrance. She then informed me that they were not accepting household items today that they were closed. This was 12 pm on a weekday and I had a large trash can full of toxic substances in my SUV which was not healthy to breath. I had to return home unload 120lbs of this stuff and then reload it another day and do it again. Their website does not specify that drop off for household items is at a different location that the main entrance.

Long line. Over 2 hour wait. Girls up front just playing on the phone. Expensive. No wonder people just dump on the side of the road now. This place isn't working. They take to much profit and make people wait to long. Oh well. City will look like a dump as long as this continues.

The people at the scale house whr you go to dump the green and trash are always in a bad mood poor customer service only the people guiding you wher to go dump are being professional maybe they have to be inside the scale house and the ones inside the scale house have to be working outside guiding... waiting time is very long they stay talking inside with oneanother

Too bad upper management doesn’t have the think tank in the company to make the entrance line more efficient. They have 1 line for trucks and 1 for commercial. You have to physically get off and pay. On average the wait time is 1 hr to move into gates. 2 hours if wait times are longer . Plenty of employees , it’s the upper management who has the trash contracts so the whole community is imprisoned to this dump and trash recycling facility. There is no reason to hire thinkers and game changers, you can hire non thinkers and keep the contract. Hopefully they hire someone that thinks outside the box for THEIR customers

This place is ridiculous. It is exactly 103F outside and here we are waiting in the longest line ever to get in. They have two entrances yet, only one is open. Then they complain about people that just dump their trash illegally. The city of Riverside and the county need to get their act together.

Just an FYI, don’t wait inline for 1-2hr on the free 3rd Friday of every month for the free dump. Just pay the $10 to drop it off M-F large or small amount is $10. I didn’t know and waited over an hour to dump 3 tires and some other small stuff on the free Saturday. But overall he employees were helpful, but just crazy long line for my first time here.
