Great chickens! Last year I ordered black copper marans chicks. They shipped from west coast to east coast and were the healthiest chicks I have ever received. Absolutely no health issues, beautiful chicks. My rooster is a big beautiful boy and the hens are so pretty. They are laying eggs now. One lays slightly lighter with speckles. The others all lay the deep, chocolate brown color. Absolutely gorgeous eggs! All have nice temperaments. Definitely recommended and Definitely will buy again in the future. Her chickens are far higher quality than the larger hatcheries that ship. I always have health issues with chicks from the larger hatcheries. Alchemist Farm chicks were the healthiest and strongest I have ever raised.

I can’t thank Franchesca and the AF team enough. First off, what a delightful experience this has been in adding a flock of chicks from AF to our home.
We wanted to raise our 18m old daughter with chickens, and from start to finish the process was seamless. I spent time researching their very informative videos and info on the website, emailed and asked questions while we took our time to make decisions, chatted about laying, size and temperament to meet our families needs and received timely in depth responses from Franchesca, which I truly appreciate bcos I do not want to sit on google or in chicken forums.

I have had feed store chicks in the past and they don’t compare. My daughter is all gas, no brakes at this age and the one thing that she slows down for is the chicks. They entrance her and she is so gentle with them. I couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience, and quality of chicks we received.

This year, 2025 seems to have lots of issues with chick survival rates, breeding, and quality of bird durability.
I love the principles of this business, and supporting a family who shares in our ideals, and a better future for our planet, while also receiving well bred chicks that are healthy and strong, while also bred ethically.

**We picked up our chicks from the no contact farm stand and went with their Alchemist Blues, German Bielefelder, Bantam Cochin and Moss Egger chicks.

I have brought home 10 chicks from Alchemist Farm this spring, and I am so happy with them. They are beautiful and friendly chicks, and I love them so much. I love how the farm runs and allows their chickens to be free range and not in tight cages. I will be getting more from them next spring if I can add more to my flock!

My chicks arrived today via USPS. They all arrived alive! Alchemist farms also provided one extra chick, so I have 11 spunky little peepers. Once they were in their brooder it didn’t take them long to start running around and stretching out! I left them for a little while and came back and they were all still moving around, eating and drinking. While hanging out with them some started to nap, while others were still running around. So happy and impressed with this process. It was my first time ordering via mail. The chicks arrived one day early and from the tracking number it took about 25 hours to get here in CO from CA. So glad I chose Alchemist farms as well, the box they arrived I looked cozy and plenty of mash for them to eat.

I cannot recommend Alchemist Farms enough! From the moment I first ordered the customer service was exceptional! I even inquired about pushing up my order and few weeks and they gladly accommodated!
Our family received our 12 chicks last week! We ordered 9 and they kindly added 3 more! The baby chicks arrived in perfect condition and have been lively and friendly from the moment they arrived. My kids are over the moon! Our Labrador loves them! Our neighbors love them!
We are so excited for a rainbow of eggs hopefully by next spring! Chicken math is real because I already want more!

What an amazing farm! I love what they stand for, their care and compassion towards chickens and the earth! I purchased 6 baby chicks and they all came to me completely healthy and vibrant!
