Came to my home on behalf of Honesite insurance and did "inspection". Would not test areas that had obvious build up and damage, and would not test more then a limited number of already cleaned spots around the home. Was also told they are not allowed to discuss their reports with me and could only provide them to the insurance company as they are the ones that pay them. They are told by homesite to not test the areas with obvious damage as they will have to pay the claim. The areas they did test still showed positive but AEG marked it as acceptable!!! I see other people on here are having the same issues and I'm sure they will be hearing from oan attorney after the evidence I submit is brought to court

We were referred to this business by State Farm Insurance Company, but after communicating with the customer care liason (Dominique Wilkes-Martinez), it was clear that they did not wish to do business. Extremely unprofessional, not responsive. State Farm Insurance Company is aware of this extremely negative, poor quality service experience. Therefore, I absolutely do NOT recommend anyone going to American Environmental Group for their environmental needs. Recommendation Given: 1-Star (Lowest Possible Rating).

AEG was dispatched to my home in Feb 2019 as a PreferredVendors to inspect the results of demolition and remediation of the efforts of 3 other Preferred Vendors after wind peril, roof loss & unmitigated 40 days of water intrusion from roofless house. 65% of my interior walls & ceilings were identified by PreferredVendors as water damaged.

Reports were not disclosed to me until State Farm authorized AEG to speak with me. No evidence of any mold spores was reported to State Farm in March 2019. Based on that AEG report. Build back was authorized & performed by a non PreferredVendor. authorized by field adjuster after desk adjuster authorized dismissal & replacement of demo & buildback PreferredVendors- all now parties to Complex litigation. #Cahoots ?

In August 2019 returned to my home, at my request, after they obtained authorization from StateFarm to speak to me, upon discovering extreme & escalating microbial growth throughout the house. AEG second report showed some “unacceptable*” air quality in multiple rooms, with no remediation protocol. When pressed, they recommended ‘surface cleaning and HEPA vacuuming’ which yet another State Farm PreferredVendor estimated at $10,000. Source of contamination deemed irrelevant.

Multiple reports from non StateFarm vendor pool before & after AEG disclosed extreme & life threatening microbial growth

90%of home interior demolished & remediated AT MY EXPENSE AFTER GETTING EXTREMELY ILL.
I Lived without walls thru lockdown.

Litigation in progress with Bar Complaints to follow.

USE STATE FARM VENDORS “AT YOUR PERIL”

USAA members beware. Read the other comment from USAA members as well showing this isn't an isolated incident. Giving a two star because the initial service was amazing but things went sideways today. Our home experienced a water leak in Nov, as of today we are still working with the insurance company and their preferred vendors to get the home up and going again. American Environmental Group was called to our home in four occasions at a cost of $675.00 - $745.00 for testing. The company is a USAA preferred vendor. As invoices came in we paid them. First payment Nov $675.00, second in Nov $745.00, third end of Nov $675.00. We received and paid all of these invoices. Today I get a call from Cesar in collections who displayed an aggressive attitude immediately after I answered the call. Several times he would accuse me of not paying my bills and how I was avoiding paying the debt incurred. At 830am I was shocked to receive this call. Several comments were made about how AEG has attempted contact and we were avoiding paying the debt. Now why would we pay three invoices but not pay the other? After Cesar threatened to ruin our credit and send us to collections and of course I became heated at this time so he hung up. I called back and spoke to his supervisor Robert and it appears this invoice was never sent to us as they have no proof and no proof calls were made that we didn't answer to. If you carry USAA insurance I would avoid at all costs. All in we have paid $2,095 for sample testing and still have a bill of $675 as noted today. To receive that much money and still threaten people with collections without ensuring there is another issue is disappointing at best.

On time, professional and friendly. He answered all my many questions with patience and kindness. Sorry I don't remember the young man's name. Results of asbestos and lead tests were done the same day.

To find out anything from the reports department is impossible. I have tried 6 different times and all I get is a recording that tells me someone will be with me shortly and then approximately 1 min 48 second later they hang up on me. I've been waiting 7 days for this second report. I don't recommend this company work can not be done without there report and I can't seem to get ahold of them!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. Would never work with this company ever again. First company I’ve ever encountered that makes you make full payment before work is complete and reports send. Go elsewhere to save yourself the trouble.
