Everything went smoothly when our AC went out as far as communication, response time, and repair. However, even after leaving a signed blank check for them to take when the job was done and telling them about it several times they did not take the check. I was working a 60 hour week (12 hours a day) just to start getting messages that they wanted paid immediately. Was made to feel like I was somehow trying to stiff them. Eventually was able to get my wife to run them over a check and here it is the next week and it hasn't even been cashed nor have I gotten the invoice yet for services. Was also told some of the parts could be under warranty but to pay full price and they would communicate whether or not they were covered later. I've heard nothing either way. Will only use again if I have to.
Update 2.5 months later - found out the wiring was all wrong causing the AC to stay running resulting in giant power bills. When I asked for the info on my new motor for warranty purposes I was told to leave them alone and stop causing drama. They were not going to spend any more time on me because of my review. Also found out the propane leak that he promised to fix was not fixed at all.

Y'all I am on the verge of tears, I don't even know how to thank Jacob & James from AMS inc. Some of you may know that soon after we bought our house we had a plumbing issue, and our basement kept backing up. We went through a different local company at first, and they kept screwing around and never fixed the issue, they didn't even try to figure out what was causing it. After 3 times with them coming over and screwing around, and over $900, they said their equipment was broken at the time and we needed to find another company. Luckily Cameron called AMS and Jacob and James came and saved the day. They camera'd the line, found the issue and made a temporary fix till we could make a game plan. They were constantly in contact with us and up front with us about everything. The temporary fix was about $800 with labor and equipment. Once we came up with our game plan to make a permanent fix, we knew it'd take most of our taxes to do so, but it was okay with us because it’s better that it’s fixed instead of having to constantly deal with a backing up basement. Jake got back with us so quick about the whole thing and had us set up and scheduled ASAP. The work was done well within a day and it came back the next day possible and fixed everything up that was moved/removed. (Trim & carpet) so of course were waiting for the damage and let’s just say Jacob gave us the greatest price. He cut back on some of it because we have been through so much trouble to solve this issue and they really saved us and we can’t thank him and James enough for their work. PLEASE if you have any plumbing or hvac issues, call AMS. You will 110% not regret it as they do fabulous work, are quick about it and they’re all around amazing people. I’m just so so so grateful to them and they deserve all the business they can get.

Called AMS on a Friday because the unit they installed 3 years ago is leaking water all over my floor. Was told they'd be by Saturday between 10 and 12. At 11 was told they didn't know when they'd get to us. At 6:30 told us they might get to us Sunday. It's 90+ degrees out and I can't use my AC and they won't give us an ETA for service. Will never use them again.

EDITING to add that I never blamed your company for the leaking water. I simply wanted to stress to you that I had an actual problem and needed to find someone who could come out Saturday. I called you because you were the ones who installed the unit the water was running out of and would be the familiar with that type of unit. All you had to do was tell me at 11 that you weren't going to get to me that day. If you're busy, you're busy. Heck, even recommend someone else I could call if you knew of someone. I'd have been fine with that. I would have respected that. And I would have felt I could call your company again in the future even though you were busy this time.

FYI it was a clogged condensate drain line. Apparently the copper line that's on there needs to be replaced with a pvc line for better drainage. (Not something you installed.) And we change our air filter approximately every 3 months. I have a box of them.

Highly recommend! They were courteous, completed work fast and were affordable. I could see the attention to detail and could also see they care about taking care of customers. Will deffinately be the first call I make for future HVAC repairs.

Ran me around about what what needed to be done to make progress with the house, didn’t complete the out spout, more water damage, didn’t have time for me, had to outsource. One guy told me I could sue. Still have ALL texts from them.

They had to troubleshoot first costing me some money to figure out the whole unit needed replaced. Over all pleased with their service.
