I had solar installed because I care about the environment and I'm retired and on a fixed income. I encountered several solar charlatans when I was looking for an installer, but since I contracted with Apex, I've never regretted my choice. I have had my Apex installed solar for almost 10 years with no hiccups. I pay $17/month for National Grid to process my solar energy, and I have a plug-in hybrid car and a charger attached to my garage. Apex has been responsive every single time I have contacted them with questions about service and even my recent house renovation. Apex has disconnected my solar system so I can have my house sided, and they will re-connect it when the renovation is complete. I am so impressed with their professionalism, and do not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Great job with installation at a fair price. However, if you ever need service, there is a $600+ fee to get them to come to your house, half of which you pay when you schedule the service even though the earliest they could visit the site was two months out. So no solar production for two months. The technician visited the house and diagnosed the problem as a bad fuse, changed it, was gone in 15 minutes and charged me the balance of the $600 service call fee. Looking for support from another company with a better service program.
Also they have a finder fee if you recommend them to someone who purchases a system from them. I recommended them to a friend who got an estimate for a system installed. He signed up for the installation but the folks we came to install it wanted to charge another $1000 beyond the estimate. He sent them home and bought from another installer.
UP DATE: I did have an issue and the Apex tech was very helpful with emailed assistance at no charge.

Had a fantastic experience with both their business development and installation teams. Very transparent very efficient and great pricing. We got 13 bids for our home and they were both the lowest bid and offered the best solar module from the company ranked the most bankable panel producer. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Phil was very knowledgeable and guided us through our diagnosis and inverter repair and follow up afterwards. Our repair technician was equally skilled and very knowledgeable. Both were also very professional working with us (Apex is lucky to have such good employees!). Other Apex staff was equally helpful in explaining the process of getting the work done. Apex seems to have the knowledge and processes in place to install and maintain our solar system and I would recommend them to anyone considering a solar installation.

Love how quickly they were available to remove my panels so I could install a new roof and they came back the next week to install them again! The guys were on time, polite, professional and worked hard to get the job done efficiently. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again when needed.

The folks at Apex have been extremely helpful right from our first consideration of installing a PV Solar system. A moderate amount of paperwork was involved for a variety of project aspects (including system analysis/needs/system design, NYS permits, financial details), as well as the physical installation of the system.
Under the direction of a project manager, our system was designed and built. The actual physical system was installed in a single day. We went online in July 2016 and have had our electric bills significantly reduced since that time. Apex and it's employers were very easy to work with and I have recommended them to friends and neighbors who are considering to install a solar system.
