I was really disappointed with this office overall. I broke my fifth metatarsal just before Christmas and was very impressed to be able to get into this office just two days after the injury. On my first visit, I saw the surgeon after he reviewed my X-rays. He said it didn’t look bad and had a good chance of healing on its own. My fracture was totally aligned and less than 1mm in gap. Two weeks later, I had a second visit for follow up X-rays. After waiting two hours for my 5pm appt, a woman provider came in and immediately told me I needed to have surgery because the gap was not any smaller by that time. She kept pushing as if I needed to have the surgery done within the next few days. I went for a second opinion elsewhere. That doctor shot his own images and told me if this were his foot, he wouldn’t let anyone go near it. Here I am 6 weeks post fracture and I just got the all clear that the bone is healing and is reattached. I am sure they are fantastic surgeons, but please don’t recommend it to people who don’t truly need it.

I had my second appt. with Dr. Hall today. I waited over two hours for the first appt., and then saw another doctor or assistant, not the doc with whom my appt. was. My second appt was today, & I had waited for over an hour when I asked the desk how much further the doc was behind schedule. They said 4 more patients were ahead of me, and each of those would take 15 to 20 mins. or more. I didn’t want to be paying someone to waste my time, something I can do much more pleasantly on my own without paying a cent, so I walked out, freeing up some time for the unfortunates who would follow me later on today. This office seems to overbook with regularity. Even the crowd in the waiting room with me agreed they always waited an hour or more to see a physician at this office. I’ll not go back. I could have driven to the Valley for a doc in the time I waited for my first appt. here. It seems likely this office is unconcerned about patients’ time, but only about profits. As a former professional, I find this unethical and beyond annoying. I must admit, the receptionists were pleasant and tried to be helpful, but the problem was not one they could rectify.

I have used Dr Brimhall services since he started a practice in the white mountains. I am so grateful for him, Leah, and the entire staff. Their professionalism is only exceeded by their pre and post op consideration, personalized interaction, and heartfelt attention to the needs of each individual. You can feel the desire to provide the best possible care, in what are, oftentines, very stressful situations! You have my full gratitude!

My advice is seek out another office for your needs. I’ve had 3 appointments. What a nightmare with wait times. I have waited up to 3 hours, then I either didn’t see Dr. Hall at all or had an another doctor fill in for Dr. Brimhall. I understand waiting my turn, but so many people were upset and asking what was going on with the delays. Staff offers no updates, and if asked, they simply say it’s because of a lack of rooms in their office. That tells me they’re constantly overbooked. I had an MRI done and they told me I needed knee surgery. I can tell you I have zero confidence in this office to do my surgery if they’re overbooking for money. Also Dr. Brimhall had a nurse/ assistant trying to sell me on expensive supplements which I thought inappropriate considering my level of pain. Now, I need to seek out another office and doctor because my health is worth it. I understand that surgeons aren’t necessarily business people knowing how to run the front end of their office. I would suggest in the strongest terms that this practice hire a professional office manager and stop overbooking patients! People who need help and compassion should look elsewhere on the mountain.

I have never had such a caring orthopedic office than AZ Mtn Ortho! Dr Reagan and his staff are the best - front office and back office are kind, caring and efficient. Dr Reagan, Steven Strutters, and Dr Ryan Hall are the best team ever! I have been going to this office for well over 20 years and they just keep getting better. Also the remodeling of the Atrium waiting area ( plus AC) makes waiting for your appointment much more comfortable.
I highly recommend this office!
Thank you AZ Mountain Ortho for all for going above and beyond for your patients every day.

Waited two hours to find out he did'nt even send in for the prior authorization.Total waist of my time they have no respect for you .I would rather stay in my wheel chair than go back to them
Reagan runs off to the hospital and leaves his patients on Steven.Who already has a full load.....
So do'nt go there and think you'll get in on time .....YOU WONT!
So do'nt expect a simple curticy call when they can't get authorization...........YOU WONT!
Do'nt expect me to go back there....I WONT!!!!!!!
