I wish we would have gone with Sierra Pacific. Aztec simply does not stand by their work. They don’t explain what you got or how to work it. Even our pool guy HATES the “timer” they installed (which after searching around isn’t even a timer, it’s a solar switch first and foremost and the worlds WORST and least logical timer as a secondary function). They charge you $180 to come out and make sure there are no leaks even when the system is still fully warranted. This is our second full season (plus one partial season when it first got installed) with it and we’ve had at least one leak, air in the system because of incorrectly placed valves, improperly set timer, etc. We just paid $180 per FIFTEEN MINUTES to have them out to make sure there were no leaks after MULTIPLE gutter repair guys told us the system was leaking into our gutter. Luckily he couldn’t find anything but we still had to pay. Now we can hear air in the tubes and have air bubbles coming out our pool return but we are hesitant to call them because they’re just going to charge us another $180. It’s absolutely ridiculous! When we asked them about this fee and mentioned it’s all still under warranty the response we got was “Well, we have to stay in business somehow” Yes, really.

Use Sierra Pacific.

Update over a week later: I’m adding a second photo because our “non existent leak” seems to be getting worse. The bubbles are blocking larger and the sound of air in the system sounds like a plane is constantly flying overhead. We got one call to try and make us happy which I was at work and in meetings for. We set up a good time for him to call me back the next day which he did not do. My husband called yesterday morning and left a message but we received no reply so far.

Munro Boyd is the salesman who came to my house. He is a very pleasant gentleman. He was very informative throughout our conversation and put to rest any concerns that I had about pool solar. I was very excited! I love my pool solar! I love that I can control the temperature . It wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the pipes in ground were left visible (the dig wasn’t deep enough) so my husband had to fill with dirt.

Last year, I had Aztec Solar replace my old pool pump with a new variable speed pump, and I could not be happier with the experience. Brad, the technician who installed the pump, was fantastic. He was skilled, polite, and incredibly efficient throughout the installation process.

Brad took the time to show me how to operate the new pump with my pool’s solar heating system, ensuring that I was comfortable with all the new features. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, making sure I understood everything before he left. And he left the area around the pump cleaner than it was when he arrived.

The new variable speed pump is working perfectly and has made a noticeable difference in the efficiency of my pool system and reduced my electric bill. I highly recommend Aztec Solar. It's a great company with great people.

My husband an I were very impressed and satisfied with the excellent service we received from Aztec Solar from start to finish. Unlike other Solar companies, Aztec did not bombard ua with unwanted phone calls or heavy sale tactics. Jen, their sales consultant, was informative and did not pressure us into anything more than we wanted.
We had decided on getting solar heating for our pool to extend the swimming season. The entire process went effortlessly. We now have a beautiful heated pool to enjoy anytime.
