Id give no stars if I could! The employees there are horrible and insanely rude! I'm a single mom with serious health issues. I set up automatic payments. Well my water gets shut off and the only notice I get was that it had been disconnected. I called asking why my autopay was discontinued and why I hadn't received any prior notice (which seems to be a theme for them if you read the other comments) the woman told me to shut up and stop talking at her before I was even finished talking. Then she proceeded to be rude and tell me "well you need to check your mail that's not our problem and legally we only have to put the shut off notice on" she claimed I was getting notices to my email then proceeded to read off an email I've never heard of before. It's amazing how they can bully you and withhold water from other human beings just to make money. The whole no notice till it's shut off thing seems like a complete and total scam they are running on ppl. The only reason they are still in business is because there's no other options for water and because they're stealing money from people in need.

Lived here for almost 3 years and had a water leak after the meter 1.5’, they came out to look at it and laughed because it wasn’t their problem. They turned off my water without any notice AFTER they said I would get a $400 credit but never applied it. They will take advantage of you. A few of the service guys know what they are doing but certain lead employees have no idea what they are talking about and will lie to make themselves look “smart” . No notice or written notice until they turned it off. Infrastructure has already been paid for 20 years plus. They are here to exploit people not to help.

I have been with BMMD for over 20 years. I called May 2nd, a Monday, to advise them that I had sold my house and had moved out May 1st and I would like the water taken out of my name and turned off as I no longer live there. The company sent me a final bill with the amount circled in red and final bill written in red. I paid this bill upon receipt. Then somtime end of May or the next month they send me a bill stating that the new owners did not switch the water into their name until May 10th and the company is now trying to make me responsible for the new owners first 10 days of water. If BMMD had conformed with my request to disconnect the water service in my name the new owners would have been compelled to get their water hooked up in their name as they would have not had water in my name for their use. BMMD refuses to listen to reason and I really dont want to pay this bill not because I cant afford it it is just the principle of the whole thing. It is absolutely ridiculous i can show them the sale documents.

Abusive, sarcastic employees using a 75 cent late fee as a long term grift to add a tax to our already overpriced bill. They will not help or change your bill date, they just want their free 75 cents each month. This is the epitome of small town power. They use their positions because their tiny lives are pathetic. Parachute is a dying town and these profiteers are helping it die.

They used to let you pay online. Now if they are planning to shut your water off on Monday morning it is impossible to pay before then. So if you happen to be late getting to them Monday morning you get charged a reconnect fee. Since inflation is so high it should come as no surprise that people are struggling why make it harder on them?

I was treated very badly by David on the phone yesterday over something I found out I was 100% correct about. Sean and Vinny were a huge help today though. Thanks to both of them.
