We contacted them for an estimate to install furnaces. The person that we had an appointment with was late by over 2 hours so we called to inquire. The tech called and said he had a flooded kitchen due to his dishwasher in his own home and had lost track of time. We said we understood and waited for them. He showed up and walked into our business (under renovation) and just glanced at the main room we were working on and did not try to view or walk the building. He was rude and disinterested but talked about himself and his kitchen. He told us everything was done by an app that he used on the computer and he would Google a pin drop for the location and size of the building and that would determine the furnaces we needed. He handed me a paper to fill out my information and said he would email me an estimate. We asked for a rough estimate or general idea. He asked if we could afford it. It was insulting and poor customer service. He then told us we would need two furnaces (accurate) and quoted us 4000 per furnace with 12,000-14,000 total. He also explained that he does not wire the furnaces and we would need a separate electrician to do the wiring. We had also said we would do the ducting- so to just order, deliver, and drop. He never sent the quote. We called to complain and asked that the owner call us back. They never called. We will never do business with them. Sadly, by our calculations, they have lost a considerable sale since we have four floors and potentially would have purchased 2 furnaces for each floor. If they don't need the business, don't bother and waste customers time. If I owned this company, I would start to follow-up with inquiries myself if I cared at all about my company and reputation.

I recently called Blackie’s to inspect the heating in one of my bedrooms, which had been underperforming. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. The technician, D’Wayne, arrived on time, was courteous, and took the time to thoroughly assess the issue. He explained everything in detail, from potential causes to the steps needed for a solution.

What impressed me the most was how professional and knowledgeable the entire team was. They didn’t try to upsell unnecessary services, and the repair was affordable and effective.

Technicians are always very nice and professional - always let us know when they are on their way to our house - any parts needed at any of the appointments are always discussed with us prior to installation and setting up appointments is easy and very accommodating

The thermostat for my furnace went out earlier this week. It was still under warranty, so I scheduled an appointment for later in the week to have it changed. The technician arrived on time, and replaced it in no time at all for a small charge of $40. I am glad I bought my furnace at Blackie's.
