So much better than all the fast food places in town. The service is friendly, the food is delicious, served quickly and reasonably priced. We had Navajo tacos and peach pie. Both were exceptional - the best peach pie I've ever eaten!

While traveling through town we wanted to support a local restaurant. The service was very fast, the waitstaff was wonderful and the food was good. I had never had a Navajo taco until we ate here. I thought it was delicious. The shell was tender and it was loaded with chili beans and taco toppings. And we didn't think the water tasted bad, no lemon needed.

Good little spot frequented by locals; unassuming, but with good food and big portions. We had Navajo taco (great!), Navajo beef (delicious roast beef in a frybread), Navajo dice mutton (a little on a dry side but pretty good, too) and some wonderful pie (apple and peach). Also, prices are quite pleasant.

To say the dining room lacks ambiance is a bit like saying the desert lacks much running water. Fashioned after a “roundhouse” its attempts to be authentic falls short with a huge open dining area. No booths, just tables assembled as if in a gym.

The food was average. Packaged butter and syrup for the pancake.

One server for 13 occupied tables when I visited on a Friday morning

I read a couple of reviews that said locals seem to like it. Heck, it may be the only place in this town open.

We caught lunch here on your way to Arches National Park. I was excited to dine at a Native-owned restaurant, but the food was difficult to heartily recommend.

As you seat yourself, the first thing you'll notice is that this diner is a large, open, octangular space. A pretty original layout for a restaurant. After being seated, we were attended to quickly by some kind, sweet waitstaff. They took our drink orders and soon brought very tall tumblers of ice water accompanied by little plastic containers with yellow liquid -- I thought it was a sauce. I took a sip of water and found that the tap water here is not to my liking. I discovered that the little containers are lemon juice for your water. I dumped it in and it made quite a difference.

A waitress took our orders for: Turkey club sandwich, Navajo Taco, Navajo Diced Mutton with potato salad, and Steak over steamed rice and vegetables.

My wife's Navajo (ground beef) Taco was good - basically the usual taco ingredients, with salsa and sour cream on the side, on fry bread. My wife said the meal was satisfying, the fry bread was good, but the meat was a little bland.

My son's turkey club, fries & pickle was good - it was similar to any other diner's turkey club.

My diced mutton came wrapped inside a tortilla and the lettuce, tomato, onion and potato salad came on the side. The mutton was tender and tasty but I kept on thinking that there was something missing. I added Tabasco and it was better, but was still something missing. In similar wraps from around the world, there's tahini or hummus or tzatziki to round out the taste and texture. This needed something like that. I think the star of the show was the potato salad - wow, it was really good.

My young daughter ordered the steak on steamed rice with veggies. This dish was just ok. I don't think the steak and veggies were seasoned well enough and the rice was ... well, I'm used to boiled jasmine rice, so I'm just not used to the texture steamed rice in general. The vegetables, mostly broccoli and sliced green beans, we're roasted or grilled, I believe. There is a bottle of soy sauce on each table and I think this dish would have benefitted greatly from it. Perhaps the saving grace was that this was a large portion of food. We saved half for later.

As mentioned, the staff are very nice and accommodating. I couldn't ask for nicer waitresses - she felt like family!

The dining space is interesting too, a large octagon space with a lots of natural lighting coming in from all sides as well as ceiling windows. Tables and seats are spread all around and in the very center of the floor is a showcase of pies.

The locals like this place, when we got there it was hopping. I like the service and the atmosphere, and I really wanted to give the Blue Coffee Pot more than an average overall rating, but in our experience, the food was ... Just ok. I sincerely hope they can up their game because the food isn't much better than what you can get at a local dive bar.

Love this spot. Came for lunch yesterday, stayed at monument valley and came back for breakfast today. Frybread is excellent—crispy and chewy and tasty. Also the breakfast is low key great—chicken fried steak was tender and tasty, and pancakes were huge and fluffy. Thanks y’all!
