Mike managed the entire engagement with respect and professionalism and was not a sales push as other companies I spoke to. Mike answered all the questions I had and not only answered but added context and education to the answers to ensure I understood everything I needed to know to make a knowledgeable decision. The process from the start was easy with Mike and I got the system I needed which included Tesla PowerWalls as backup to the whole house. The install crew equally professional is also part of the Bob Heinmiller company as they do not outsource their installation making them 100% responsible end to end. The crew treated my house and the installation of equipment with care and cleanliness while keeping me up to date of next steps & events which I needed to take action such as Tesla & Nphase transition.

I would recommend Mike and Bob Heinmiller to anyone as a trustworthy and no games professional person / company & crew.

From start to finish the experience with Mike Lane has been fantastic. I never felt like I was being "sold" or "pitched" on anything. Mike and his team did an excellent job of communicating with us, specifying the system, installing the system, and dealing with the HOA and the utility. Overall it was a great experience and we are enjoying having Solar on our roof. The system was install the last week in December and we just got our tax return back which included the credit from the federal government, so all that is working well. We have yet to see a bill from utility but I suspect that will go swimmingly as well

I am highly recommending Bob Heinmiller for solar panels. Four of those big companies that come door-to-door quoted me twice as much as Bob Heinmiller for the exact same brand and model of panels and micro inverters that I got from Bob Heinmiller. That was a $20,000 difference in my case. With the big companies, they would write up a deal to save $10 to $20 a month on your electric bill but why take that deal when you can save hundreds a month? After doing extensive research I discovered that the 4 big companies that gave me quotes just sub-contract everything out and I realized I could cut those middlemen out by going with a local installer to get a far better price. I checked out several local installers. I was looking for one that would be a one stop shop for any kind of maintenance on my solar system including roof issues causes by installation. I wanted to be able to call one company and get anything fixed over the next 25 years with no out-of-pocket cost. Most local installers provided this. I did research how long the local companies have been in the solar business also. Several companies, even the bigger companies, come and go quickly. I didn’t want to hire a company that had only been in business a few years. Bob Heinmiller has been in business a very long time, over 15 years and they don’t subcontract anything. Reviews I’ve read for Bob Heinmiller almost all had high praise. The only negatives I could find were written by people that weren’t happy with how long it took the electric company to set up net metering or financing problems which is beyond the control of any installer. I even spoke with a few of their customers personally and they all had very high opinions with Bob Heinmiller Solar.
I would highly encourage anyone looking into installing solar panels to call Mike Lane at Bob Heinmiller Solar. I bought a new array to generate enough electricity to offset almost the entire electric company bills annually and I also got solar panels to heat my pool. Both are working great. I am very happy with the education, the quick response, and price I got from Mike Lane and his team. They did a good job cleaning up after the installation and the whole thing only took them 6 hours in 1 day. My payback for this system is only around 5.7 years at which point I’ll will have generated enough electricity to have fully paid for my panels after my 30% tax break. My payoff will be less than 5.7 years if the electric rates go up.
If you are looking to get solar or upgrade what you have you should be giving Bob Heinmiller a call. You won’t be sorry.

I had a great experience with the Bob Heinmiller Solar Solutions team from start to finish. Darryl Washington, my sales representative, informed and showed me about the advantages of solar energy, answered all my questions and assisted in completing all my paperwork. With Duke Energy being so expensive, he also broke down my bill and showed me items I had no idea I was paying for. Darryl was easy to talk to and knowledgeable, and I felt he was there to help solve my problem rather than try to sell solar panels. The team that installed my panels was on time and very professional and took time to answer my questions during the installation. Mike Lane, who came out to perform a quality check after the installation, was excellent. My WiFi did not have a strong enough connection to the live status, so Mike hardwired my gateway to the system, which worked great. I highly recommend Bob Heinmiller Solar Solutions. The entire team was great to work with, and we have enjoyed the savings on our electric bill thus far.
