Ian James is amazing! I spoke to him about mold abatement and hvac duct cleaning strategies today and Ian could not have been nicer, more knowledgeable, or more generous in sharing his time and expertise with me. He recommended some approaches and shared some referrals and I now have a path forward. And he did this all without getting anything in return… yet. Once all of the work on our condo is done, I look forward to bringing Ian in for post abatement testing. I never write reviews. But Ian is worth it. 5 stars, hands down!

Over the past 48 years I think of only a few, a handful of companies I have done business with that i am blown away by there knowledge, honesty and perfect execution of explaining to me the absolute best way to deal with my issue and that calling and spending money is not neccesarally the best way to tackle my issue. The employee, who answered mind you, is almost done with his day. Its a Monday I am sure he was ready to go home. And he happily helps me. It gets better, this young man is not just any employee he is the owner and that right there tells me who he is and what type of company he has created. I tip my hat to you Ian James. Great job!!

This company is exceptional! I had a building sewage pipe burst and flood my condo, and have been dealing with the insurance company who is trying to pay as little as possible to fix the situation. I called Ian James at Boston Environmental, and he kindly answered a lot of my questions about mold and sewage floods. He is extremely knowledgeable about these topics and was very willing to spend his time explaining things to me without charging me for his time.

I had some more questions and called him again months later. Not only did he remember my flood story, he again spent another hour on the phone with me answering my questions. He went above and beyond, even though he knew that he wasn't going to get any business out of it because the issue has been settled. That kind of dedication to helping people is very rare to find in a company.

You get what you pay for, and it is important to hire the best when dealing with environmental issues that can lead to health problems. I would hire Boston Environmental without any hesitation in the future if I needed their services. Thank you Ian!

Responsive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, professional, educational - these are a few of the words I use to describe Boston Environmental and Ian James. I called Boston Environmental about closed cell foam insulation I had installed in my home. Despite it being the start of a holiday weekend I received a return call from Ian James the same day. He was professional and gave me clear, succinct, understandable information and direction. After some testing Mr. James again responded promptly to my call and again provided clear, technical, useful information. I don't recall the last time I was so impressed by a professional firm.
