The worst. We bought a house three years ago and the owners (of course) LIED about our heating system and it failed within weeks of moving in. Bourne shows up, causes a massive CO2 release that causes us to evacuate everyone, alarms blaring, in DECEMBER. Bourne refuses to acknowledge the leak, then tells us they can fix the boiler, (they cannot). Charges us 1500 for the aggravation and refuses to release the tank access to Suburban--and, (wait for it) then proceeds to write a letter accusing ME of harassing THEM because of the danger they exposed my entire family to. Incredible. We paid them and did not look back.
Infuriating. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

We have been customers of Bourne's for 24 years for our home and farm and have always been happy with their customer service and communication. This past spring we had a 400k btu propane heater we use to dehydrate herb crops malfunction. Bourne's service crew came and diagnosed the problem which led to the discovery of a cracked heat exchanger. Their service manager Skip Carlson worked hard communicating with the manufacturer and distributor to get us a warrantee replacement on the heat exchanger even though we bought the heater through a greenhouse supply company six years prior. Without warrantee the repair would have cost us over $6,000 for the heat exchanger and labor to replace. Exceptional customer service and communications all around!

When the power was out for four days and not expected back any time soon we were concerned about running out of propane over the holiday weekend at 2 locations and conserved as much as we could. We checked the levels Monday AM and were close to 30% left. A call to Bournes at 800AM and a truck in the driveway by 10AM! Excellent customer service and communication. This along with assistance on the coordination of maintenance of the generator gives Bournes a five star review

I've been a Bourne's customer for just over 2 years in Milton, VT. My husband and I had a Rinnai Heater installed in one of our buildings and it works great! We've always received great customer service, great prices, and our automatic delivery never misses a beat. I often forget about the need to check for fuel because they take such good care of us.

Bourne's will do anything yo want as long as you are willing to pay higher fuel prices that with other company's. We have been with Bourn'es for 7 years when we purchased our business. Since then we had Bourne's install 2 new high end boilers for heat, a gas fireplace, all new toilets were installed in our guest rooms. Last winter they installed an $8,000 hot water system. We have used bone's for all of our heating and plumbing issues for seven years. Besides that we have 7 years worth of oil and propane contracts.
This year the oil contract is $0.30 more per gallon than there competitors which is approximately $1,250.00 for the year. When they informed me they could not compete they told me they would no longer service my boilers even thou we have an appointment already set up for just a few days from now. I guess this is there way of telling me where to go after several years of business and approximately $200,000 worth of business I gave to them over the course of 7 years.

My advise is shop around, don't get shafted.

I have had, and worked with many fuel companies over my years as an electrician. Bourne's Energy is who my whole family uses and depends on for our propane and oil. They are also who I recommend to all of my customers. They have earned that many times over.

We had Bourne's for 18 years we had our business and they were awesome! Customer service was great as was their service department and the drivers were courteous and friendly! I would highly recommend them.
