Bronzeville Winery is an absolute gem! Our server, B, was one of the best I’ve ever had—she was incredibly attentive, gave fantastic recommendations, and had the perfect attitude to make our date night extra special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. If you’re an Old Fashioned fan, don’t miss their version—it’s hands down the best I’ve ever had! This is a must-try restaurant, and I can’t recommend it enough. Go check it out—you won’t be disappointed!

We sat at the bar and the vibe was immaculate. Super friendly staff and the bartender was fantastic! We tried 3 different signature cocktails which were all great and the bartender even gave me a small glass of wine because she needed to finish off the bottle. Now to the food. We got brussel sprouts as an appetizer, which were very good, but our mains were kind of disappointing for the price. We ordered the rack of lamb and the signature burger. The lamb itself was cooked well but there was only a bite or 2 per bone and other orders we saw had much thicker pieces, the green beans were some of the best I've ever had but the mashed potatoes were just okay. As for the burger, it was nothing to write home about. It was cooked well on the inside but the outside had a bit too much char for me and caused some bites to be super dry, the side of fries were relatively bland and you definitely needed some ketchup to dip them in. Dessert we got the apple dumpling which was out of this world! Overall, great place to start or end the night!

I had a great time! Rich was an amazing and attentive server. He made sure we were taken care of and provided great entertainment throughout our time there. He introduced us to the manager, Mickey as well who was great. Love the ambience and Black culture of Bronzeville Winery.

Chicago is changing yall! This place was a nice gem on this side of town. Its an open concept layout and you can see the kitchen when you walk in. The service is on the slower side but the orders still came out hot and fresh. Bartenders were busy on the event night. Menu was small for this event but i think its the perfect size for this type of atmosphere. There is a mandatory service charge (gratuity) added to all checks, no exceptions.

This is my fourth time at Bronzeville Winery, and I enjoy myself each and every time, but I HAD to write a review for my lovely experience yesterday! First, upon entering the door, I was greeted warmly by Drake, Mikey, and Will, who made me feel at home and showered me with compliments (they truly made this girl feel good!) Drake got me seated comfortably at the bar for their famous Happy Hour, and it was truly indeed happy. The entire staff was exceptional, and kept me company until my friend arrived. Skylar and Don were fantastic, and gave great recommendations. I ordered the greens salad, steak sliders, loaded potatoes, and chicken sliders, and my friend and I barely left any crumbs! Everything was delicious (and priced right)! The drinks were delectable (I truly enjoyed my espresso martini, and my friend loved the Uncle Yams Old Fashioned). We got a chance to meet and compliment the chef, Raoul, and Chris was kind enough to come and introduce himself and the wine club (which sounds amazing) as well. I cannot say enough about the warm and swift service that we received, in addition to the winery itself have a clean and bright atmosphere. That testament was shown with people mostly filling up the tables even during a hale and windstorm. Thank you again, Bronzeville Winery, for a lovely evening.

Rich was such an amazing host! He was attentive and on spot with our dining needs. I really enjoyed the drinks and the appetizer shrimp was amazing. He suggested to start with our favorite drink then we paired our dinner with a nice red wine. First time impression was a 10. I’m proud of this establishment.

Bronzeville Winery exceeded my expectations on my first visit. Their menu is highly appealing, starting with a variety of salads and appetizers that truly deliver. I tried the Mac and cheese appetizer, which featured delicious noodles and an array of cheeses. For my main course, I enjoyed a mushroom pasta topped with salmon—absolute perfection. I capped off my meal with a lemon drop made with tequila instead of vodka, which provided a delightful finish.

Our server, Cierra, was outstanding. She was well-informed about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, including the mushroom pasta, which was a real treat. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The environment is sophisticated, chic, and modern, making it a great spot for a celebratory dinner. The only downside was the loud music, which made conversation difficult. Despite this, I would rate this restaurant a perfect 10/10.
