Wonderful place to explore and listen to nature. Keep your eyes and ears open, sit and listen enjoy the scenery. We stopped into the educational center which was perfect for the kids to get hands on lessons about the animals local to florida. While we were there, we were able to visit the colored pencil society showcase which had beautiful, amazing, talented artwork.

Beautiful walks and lots of wildlife. Wilderness trail was a bit wet but a lovely walk. Nice and quiet too ?

We've been here a few times. We took the shorter trail . Very peaceful. Idk how many people realize that the pigmy rattle snake is in every park around here. They like to sit in the sun and coil up waiting to ambush their next meal. They won't harm you unless provoked. Not this park but others let their dogs run around and we found these 2 right along the path. We look for them but they blend in with the foliage. They are cute but their venom can be crippling.

One of my favorite local trails. Super well marked and broken up in sections, so one can walk a short loop or do the full 4 miles. Also, one can do the nearby Friendship Trail for an additional 1.9 miles of trail. Awesome education center and facilities. The visitor center & store close at 4:00 PM, while the trail closes a bit before sunset. No dogs allowed on this trail. Wear deet, the Deer flies were pretty heavy. Also, parts of the trail can get flooded during the rain season.

Hidden gem for nature preserve! Lovely nature center. 4-5 miles of hiking trails with audio tour - scan the QR code and learn as you hike! Restrooms available until park closes one hour before sunset. The nature center closes at 4pm. They have many free learning events - very well taken care of! Impressive. Learned a lot about lichen including that they can photosynthesize in climate negative 20 Celsius! Also learned you can find cooper hawks in Florida.

Beautiful boardwalk and hiking trails wind through the Brooker creek watershed conservation Park. I saw a spotted deer fawn near the road out. Nice educational displays and Gift shop.

Park is beautiful, with nice facilities. But the one day I happened to visit the trails were flooded, and I was not able to do the entire trail. As far as wildlife, I saw slim to none. Can't blame the preserve for that. It could have just been a bad time of day to visit. Might give it a retry another time and hope for better luck on photographing some wildlife. It was free to visit so I am not disappointed in the time I spent here.

This is one of my favorite preserves in Florida. A diversity of plants and beautiful, well managed habitats. Trails are easy to follow and lengths for all abilities.

The nature center is beautiful, they have boardwalks, classroom space, a gift shop, and periodic native plant sales. Their many workshops and presentations are priceless. Check out their YouTube channel!

Sadly, no pets allowed. ?
