This place has been here for a long time. The hitchin posts are gone. the dryers are as old as the shop. There's only a couple dryers that are functional some work well but no heat. The washers are older too but they work well. Some washers are almost up to date. The big ones work well enough. But like me they're old, tired but still going.

This is a great place to do laundry but absolutely no repairs are being made, there's like 18 dryers but MAYBE 9 might work, probably less, there's more cameras than functioning machines, safety is cool but what's the point of all that security if you don't fix anything to keep customers around? Soo sad cuz it's an easy turnkey business if you take care of your financials properly,..like fix the dryers n washers with no doors maybe would be a great start. But over all it's convenient and pretty clean for most part...

I've had to use this laundry facility 4 times in 2 years. In my experiences one trip has been ok. In others, a front load washing machine was leaking severely, a big load machine ate my money, dryer didn't warm up, change machine worked 2 out of 4 visits (and there is only one machine), which means you have to run to the bank for change because the station across the street won't give change leaving your stuff unattended for the riff to rummage through. There is also no bathroom in the laundry facility also the station across the street won't let you use theirs which leads to people peeing in the parking lot. $3.50 for a single load machine, $3.50 for the front load which maybe is supposed to do a larger load? I won't even bother w the dryer, faster to just hang them when I get home.
Super disappointed in this place, being the only facility in shasta lake you'd think they would take more pride in their business. Maybe spend some money on the business and a bit less on cameras?

I had a issue with a machine and I’m sure they get this sometimes, since I saw a lady trying to put dimes And nickels in one of their washers. Pretty sure it’s quarters only. Tried to engage her but she was very rude. Never the less they display a number here to contact if you have any issues and they Answered right away and came right out to assist me. Seems like some of the bad reviews are just those who don’t understand how to use a washing machine or call a simple phone number. super nice staff and clean facilities. My friend was also there one evening and a intoxicated individual was on one of the benches in the far corner acting very erratic. The police came right out. And that is very comforting to a young woman. That shows that they have someone really watching the cameras live and ensuring that the customers always feel safe. I love that! Will come again.

We do our laundry here weekly due to location. It's really sad the new owners haven't repaired any of the dryers since they bought the place. At this rate I'm not sure they will stay in business for long because it seems to be coming more and more in disrepair. To bad they are in a great location but they don't seem to have any interest in maintaining their livelihood or the equipment. Mainly their dryers. It's really sad.

Not too busy with customers and fairly clean environment to wash your dirty clothes when ever it's needed. The only negative thing that I can speak of would have been the fact that there was many dryers that were out of service for whatever reason. There was still many other dryers available for use that worked just fine. Prices run great as well!

After loading clothing and soap into a large washer, I deposited money and the washer would not start so I lost the money and the cost of the soap I used. The washer actually destroyed 2 of my items. After all of this, the dryer did not work. Had to start over in a different dryer so there went more wasted money. There is no employee or owner on site to rectify any mishaps. Lesson learned. I will not return and advise anyone from out of town to go elsewhere where there is a live attendant on site.

The ONLY reason this place received two stars is because it is actually open and the only laundry mat in Shasta Lake City. If you have a vehicle, go somewhere else. Half the machines are out of order. It is 3.00 for a regular load to wash. It is also 3.00 for the next size up and then their huge washers START at 7.50. I say start because you have to pay to use hot water here. I personally went to two other places in Redding and checked to see if they charged for hot water and called my friend in Anderson to see if the one she goes to charges for hot water and she said no.. I am sure the place is fine if you don't need hot water, but I do and I know some essential workers like to wash their scrubs or work clothes in hot water to help kill any thing that they might have come in contact with. This place recently re-opened DURING the pandemic and should be considered as price gouging. Not to mention there is NO restroom, NO sink, half the washers AND dryers are out of order and no posted number to call should there be a problem. Visited once, I will drive further to go somewhere else should I need a laundry mat again.
