This campground is in the process of being a very nice place. The reason I gave it a four star is currently there is no staff on site , so if there is a problem it may be hard to get hold of someone. There is sites that are concrete but most are gravel.

Nice quiet campground, it's not exactly bargain priced. There are sites that allow a motorhome to pull straight in to look down at the river (the hookups are positioned so that you have normal access when pulling straight in. There's also the typical pull through and back in sites.

We absolutely love everything about Camp Sherrye. We're Wetumpka residents and therefore so thankful that an RV park like this has been developed. The owners are genuine, fantastic folks that are really putting their heart and sole into this development. For instance: when the manufacturers of the campsite fire pits weren't able to deliver enough for each site, the owners provided very nice solo stoves. The sites are all very large and level, accommodating any rig. The campground was very peaceful and quiet during our stay. I can also see this as a place that promotes a sense of community, especially with that pavilion which will be great for watching football in the fall. Overall this is definitely a 5 star!

Very nice place to stay with your camper. It's pet friendly, and there's a park for kids to play at as well as a laundry facility and Wi-Fi. The river is just a quick walk away.

A little hesitant to write a review because I wanna keep this spot all to myself. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to get away this is it. Close enough to downtown Wetumpka to take your little lady shopping but then be back to the camper in 10 minutes. We spent every night in the screened in patio that overlooks the river. It thunder-stormed each night and was wonderful listening to the rain fall on the tin roof. We will be back. Please keep up the good work!!! Thank you for making a wonderful spot!!!

We absolutely loved staying here! We stayed November through February, some if the coldest and wettest months. They had just opened up
In September 2020.

The grounds keeper set us up with a fire pit so we could stay warm and the kids enjoy s’mores. It is nestled right next to the Coosa river, which is a nice peaceful way to wake up in the mornings. The site offers full hookups, and is in the process of adding a shower/laundry facility.

You are 5 minutes from downtown and the main strip that takes you to most of the restaurants and shopping in Wetumpka.

This place is a gem!

Very nice and quiet campground. Just what we needed. We have a big rig and it was very easy pulling in and maneuvering around. They are doing a lot of work, but nothing was in the way or a hinder. All spots are level too. The plug ins for water and electric were super cute as each spot has a little ‘utility spot’ that’s kinda hidden. See pic. Getting out of the park was a little difficult with our big rig, even with just our Jeep at times. Just have to be patient for a break in traffic.
