I love the Emergency Department here. The staff were all so friendly (minus one who laughed when I told her what was going on with me). I felt heard and very taken care of. They did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and checked in on me multiple times.

Been sitting in ER with a kid who is extremely sick for two hours but people who have came in after us have been seen. UNACCEPTABLE !! Won’t ever come back

Made an incomplete diagnosis that put my mother through some unnecessary pain and discomfort for several days. She was in the hospital for four days before they finally decided she needed surgery. After the surgery she was in the hospital for another fifteen days and they wanted to put her in a special care nursing home. We had to vigorously convince them that bringing her back home would make her better. She came back home and did make a full recovery. The hospital just gets stuck in a routine box instead of actually treating each patient as an individual, but that’s at almost all hospitals. Good people in these hospitals. Just lack of staff. Protocols that are too mechanical and insurance companies that are more focused on making money than the well being of each individual patient. They don’t need to loose money, but let’s make sure the money goes to taking care of the patients and not into stockholders pockets. Hospitals should not be, just to be money makers. They should be, to have the best equipment and the best people to take care of patients and to have them go back to normal life again without loosing the ability to live that life because of extreme financial medical billings.
Also had to take my dad to the emergency room. Called ahead to have them ready with a gurney. Got there and no one was around. Went in three times screaming for help until someone finally came out, but they came out with a wheelchair and had to go back in to get a gurney. Lost my dad during all this time and had to pick him up and carry him toward the hospital as they were bringing out the gurney. They did bring our dad back then but we still lost him two days later.

Never wait more than 15 min to be seen in ER. Professional, courteous and accommodating staff. Very clean facility. However, if having a heart attack or multiple broken bones, they'll send you to Champaign.

Thanks to the staff they were good and a special. Thanks to Dr.Koto looking at my eye and to recommend. To a eye Dr.at carl in champaign il .they was quick calling and getting me in and that Dr. Was awsome she looked at eye and said a forigen Piece was in my eye .Thanks. Now my eye dont hurt good job Dr.s.

Went to the ER with my daughter and the Drs and nurses were on it right away. They were all a great staff and we didnt have to sit and wait hours like other emergency rooms.
