Clean, comfortable rooms immersed in a natural setting. So special to step outside and see redwoods swathed in fog, ducks quacking, deer grazing at night, and the occasional banana slug. The charcoal grills made for a memorable evening dinner. The walking distance businesses make the stay more enjoyable and convenient.

We stayed overnight the first weekend in February. We got in late so they left a message how to get our key in the lockbox. There were five of us so we got the family room, two queen beds and a twin bed in a separate room. These beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was wonderful as it had a tub and shower, which is important to us, nice hot water, with samples of shampoos, conditioners, lotions and a hair dryer. It had a kitchenette with a table, large frig and the cutest microwave. The rooms were so clean, and it was quiet and peaceful here. We enjoyed staying here so much!! Too bad the seasonal pool wasn't open as we would have loved that also, but hope to come back in the Summer. A+

Our stay at Casa Secoya was great! Javier was very helpful during check in and the room had everything we needed. It was very peaceful and quiet amongst the redwoods. 10/10

I understand this is a cabin so we didn’t expect much. But having to live in a small cabin brimming with centipedes and spiders and stocked with damp towels, unwashed from the previous guest’s use, and filthy sticky kitchenware was too much. We had booked cabin#22 for two nights but barely survived one night. We checked out first thing in the morning the next day. The place smelled like chemicals when we first walked in. Nothing worked and we felt dirty just being there (heater and fan were both broke). To top it all off, I discovered that at least two of the towels had been used and just folded up and restocked by housekeeping. The drawers were full of clearly unwashed dishes which were still sticky. The pictures speak for themselves. All in all, we felt we were going to catch something if we didn’t leave immediately.

We flew into town and drove 2hrs to this place. We rented a 3 bedroom cabin as we were traveling with family. We showed up at 7pm only to find it was NOT 3 bedroom as advertised! The only bedroom had a broken fan that only stood when leaning against a wall and there was an outlet cover missing. Just outside our door looked like a toddler bunk bed that was very low to the ground and was separating the bedroom from the bathroom. The bathroom had a good gap under the door and there was black mold around the tub and what appeared to be caulking that came out onto the tub and it was orange along with the door stopper! They counted the pull out couch as a bedroom! We had no little kids so imagine being the youngest person having to sleep on the “bed” between the bedroom and bathroom. Not to mention the toilet was just inside the bathroom so you could hear and smell everything! We had to cancel but were still charged for a full night. Such false advertising!!!! Next morning front desk lady was rude. We had to scramble to find other accommodations and drive around with all our luggage next day until 4pm when we could check in to the next hotel again. They did refund our two other nights but that was money we now didn’t have for the trip. Do not rent this “3 bedroom cabin” if you actually need 3 bedrooms. This would have been fine for a young family with a single toddler and maybe older kiddo not 4 adults! So disappointed.

I would review the rooms and location here...but I can't because I could not get in.

Booked two nights at Casa Seyoca for this past weekend and, per their website, called ahead to set up a late check in (check in is from 4-7 and I thought we might be 7:30). I left my first voicemail at 2:15pm, which was never returned. I called multiple times before finally getting a hold of someone at 5:15 who said that the office was already closed (wow, check in is only one hour?) and that they would email me information about how to access a lockbox/get into our room within 15 minutes. That information never came.

I called and called -- a total of 8 times throughout the day -- and left another voicemail with multiple phone numbers and email addresses. I never received information about how to get into this building. Because I live 90 minutes away, I was not willing to chance the drive (which is on rural roads) only to not be able to get into the hotel. And no one called us to ask why we hadn't ever checked in at all...

I would not reccomend staying here -- even if you want to, you might not be able to get in! What a waste of time, money and hundreds of dollars. STAFF YOUR OFFICE PROPERLY.

The rooms are too small to charge as much as they do.

On a positive note, the rooms had firm mattresses, and was very close to the golf course I played at

They don't even have coffee! For $180 a night They should have at least good coffee machine in lobby. Greedy? Old building, TV not working, old loud a/c, weird mattress, no instructions for wifi. Don't expect breakfast it's a joke.
I had to make photo through lobby window and zoom it in to find out wifi password - no one there after 5pm and message with wifi password came next day only! Poor customer service
